How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Facilities are dated as well as the room furniture's. The swimming pool area needs to be renovated, tiles are braking apart. Price quality ratio is not so good.
- Nice spacious room with shower and bathtub. - Extremely kind and friendly staff. - Parking is literally in front of the room entrance - Welcome gift, canestrelli. - Close to some beautiful beaches.

Facilities would benefit with some renewal, at least the external walls of the whole “Domaine” are in need of a hand of paint, as its outdoors are not really good-looking.
Spacious apartment with a nice balcony with views to the beautiful surrounding "maquis" and hills at distance. Reasonably equipped kitchen, the washing dish machine was a plus. Quiet place at night. Nearby parking area. Convenience of a beach at short walking distance (Cala Rossa minor).

A bit far from everything except the beach . You need a car or rent a scooter
Walking distance to the beach. Very nice breakfast and restaurant the Ranch’O Staff super nice, friendly , helpful.

Our room was great, but some of the downstairs rooms could probably be quite dark. No bar - would have beennice to have an evening drink
Staff were extremely pleasant. Breakfast was excellent. Room was quirky and comfortable. Near the beach.

We are used to discover places by travelling with the car and stay in one hotel 2 days max. We were initially not convinced by the place because its location not on the shore side, but approx. 500m from the beach, even if there's a restaurant belonging to the hotel on the beach. But what a surprise to discover a beautiful garden where all rooms are organized around the garden. The room 37 was clean and beautiful, with a reasonable price, but MOST OF ALL the shower extraordinary : full of colored tiles and an incredible water pressure/debit AND terribly hot. Honestly it's the best shower I have ever experienced ! Breakfast was simple but with true expresso (an extreeeeemly important criteria for me !). All in all I highly recommennd this place if you are searching for a nice, quiet and somehow budget friendly room in Corsica. Not to forget to mention also : the good restaurant on the beach AND the beauty of the beach "cala rossa".

The AC was out of control, the room was freezing!! We had to sleep under 3 blankets!
Spacious room with kitchen, very quiet. The breakfast was fantastic, the best one we had all week.

Rooms were a good size, very clean, had AC which was much needed. Could also park our car right outside our room which was very convenient. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

Nothing immediately comes to mind. Perhaps there could be some (at least dim or solar powered) lights outside the apartment for when we park the car and return to the apartment after dinner in the dark.
Great breakfast in a very nice setting outside in the shade near the pool. The room size is also brilliant and the bathroom is laid out wonderfully with separate sink, toilet, and shower areas. A bonus is that the car can be parked in an abundance of space close to the apartment. It all felt very Corsican, which is I am sure what most people want. Air conditioning was as expected, despite not spending much time in the room.

The photos of this property are misleading. The pictures makes it seem like the property is on the beach, but it’s like 800m away from it.

The breakfast is expensive for what it is… Nothing is homemade. The hotel maintenance should be improved! The pool and amenities around look old. The cleaning staff is also very loud in the morning.
