Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomRoom was very basic with damage to most plug sockets. Parking at the hotel is poor, especially with icy conditions (some cars got stuck). Better to park in the multi-story car park at the bottom of the town and walk 10 mins to the hotel. Multi-story car park is also cheaper.
The hotel and staff were great. Really friendly and welcoming. The public area was gorgeous with a lit fire and comfy areas to relax with a drink. Breakfast was better than expected though no fruit. Short walk to the ski lifts. Very clean bathroom. Lovely views from the room of the mountain range and Granada.

SpainThe hotel could do with some renovation. The headboard of one of the beds was loose and made lots of noise every time we turned on the bed. The holder of the shower head did not hold and was broken.

The Hotel is in a good location. Although around 15 minutes walk from centre and gondola and up a flight of stairs it was in a quieter location . Other accommodation at the top of the resort requires a car to get up and down or a chairlift which finished at 1800 hours.

Amazing breakfast, and firepit confort. Everyone in the staff was so friendly, except the spanish boy at nighttime. They made the stay very pleasant, I just wish they make dinner time and availability more predictable.

So the hotel is basic and the breakfast is a bit hit and miss but it’s warm, comfortable, plenty of hot water and the staff are very friendly. I would stay again.

SpainUnfortunately our room felt 'unfinished', bare, no wardrobe door, and a very squeaky bathroom door, which was disturbing at night. The beds were comfy enough but we both found the pillows rather hard and uncomfortable. We were also in earshot of the main reception area and sounds carried rather badly generally: though it was disturbing, we did get used to it, but do feel these things should be addressed. We did have a good view of the main skiing area from our bedroom window, which compensated for some of the annoyances! Wi Fi only good in limited places and would recommend reception having a good map of the town and a little more tourist info.
All staff were excellent, friendly and accommodating, with special thanks to Fernando who really did make us 'feel at home'. Loved the whole foyer area, great room looking towards the main ski slopes, lovely seating area with open fire (though feel the pool table should be removed and more seating facing fire would be better), nice bar area with views too, and though at times no permanent staff at bar, the reception staff were always ready to make coffee or pour a drink. Excellent location overall, easier once found best route down to the main social area of the town. We were pleasantly warm throughout our whole stay, wherever we were in the hotel.
