The room was relatively small and there was no elevator, but that is pretty normal for the type of hotel and in Biarritz.

Very nice and clean hotel with a lot of character. The room was very comfortable,. especially the bed. The common areas were also nice. The location is good and close to the market where there are excellent restaurants.

Finding a parking spot is a challenge in Biarritz. There is a spot in front of the hotel for dropping off and picking up your luggage, but this was not big enough for our (5.25 meter) long car. There is a (secured) parking close to the hotel, but getting there by car can be a challenge. Again, we drove a pretty large car and the streets in Biarritz are not made for these cars. Walk from the parking to the hotel is "less the 500 meters" but most of it is uphill. Getting back to the garage was a lot easier ;-)

We booked this room based on the looks. Very nice old fashioned French building with beautiful interior. The room was spotless, as was the rest of the hotel. Room was nice and cool on arrival. Bathroom was beautiful and 100% clean. Staff was very helpful and professional.

Nothing to complain about although envious of the residents in the hotel across the road who had a bar and a car park! May well book again next time I'm passing Biarritz.

Great location within walking distance to beaches, restaurants etc. and in an elegant and spacious old house. Very friendly and we were lucky to find a parking space just outside the door when we arrived.

We didnt have any Breakfast but the builiding is extremely beautiful and nicely decorated. It was just bliss to drink a glass of white wine in that elegant winter garden. Also the location is ideal.

The Hills! Did not realise Biarritz was so hilly!! The room was slightly expensive 🙄

This is a lovely family run historic hotel. We got a great welcome, lots of information on the area and coffee on arrival. The bedroom was very comfortable as was the bed. There are lounges with big comfortable couches to relax in. The big food market is just down the road and it's not too far to walk to the beach area. This is a Nice place to stay.

Two minor points: the room we booked was unavailable due to 'technical' reasons and we were offered a room at rez-de-jardin, which was fine, but certainly, not what we expected. The upsetting thing was that at the check-out the receptionist still tried to charge us for the original room which was 90euros more than the room we stayed in. Another point: the pillows were high and rock-hard, so we ended up sleeping flat on the sheet which was not the best of the experiences ((

We had family room on basement level. It was communicated before our arrival, but still this diminished overall experience of the hotel.

Nothing- it was perfect.

This hotel is lovely- the reception area and rooms are truly charming. The staff are very welcoming and the breakfast was laid out so nicely. It's also perfectly located near the jardin public for buses and with lots of little pastry shops and restaurants just nearby.
