Nothing we love this hotel!

We have stayed at this hotel several times its welcoming, clean and has a wonderful restaurant. When we travel to and from our Portuguese we stop at Lesperon . The village is only 2 k off the motorway but there plenty of places to walk the dog in this picturesque hamlet. With a little bar over the road to get refreshments afterwards. Before you enjoy a fantastic evening meal at the hotel.

Rustic and quaint but good size rooms. Made very welcome by our host and could take our dog into restaurant with us. Evening meal in restaurant was excellent

It’s more than friendly, we love the food the ambiance the whole experience here is fabulous. The chef was head chef of a London club, and his wife head waiter. Yes it’s a small hotel but clean, wonderful food and dog friendly. We have stopped here many times and have never been disappointed.

Nothing - would recommend and we will be staying again

We arrived to a very friendly warm welcome, the room was nice an warm upon arrival too - comfy large room with an extra bed - good shower and spotless bathroom. The restaurant is absolutely charming and there was a fire lit. the food was superb and excellent value for money - freshly cooked and well presented. Lovey wine selection too - totally dog friendly with good dog walks nearby, plenty of parking right outside the hotel. small but cute village atmosphere

Convenient, easy access to the motorway. Pleasant accommodation and as usual the food is fantastic.

The place is perfect for the building possibilities, so there's nothing I didn't like.

The room is within an old building so it had to be adapted to fit the private bathroom, but everything works out nicely. The breakfast is very nice and you can even eat it outside, as there are tables on a terrace.

Unfortunately the bed had a slight dent in the mattress or underneath in the frame and after driving all day this was uncomfortable. I'm not a fan of coffee machines and prefer freshly brewed coffee.

The house is beautiful just as displayed in the pictures. Staff was very friendly and kind. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was excellent with lots of variety to chose. Easy to get to from our main travel route. Parking right in front of hotel. Quiet village.

The dinner serving for my boyfriend was a bit too small for a big guy and it wasn't cheap. Tasty but a bit expensive.

The staff was very friendly, the bed was very comfortable, the room was nothing out of the ordinary but cute and spacious enough, the (paid) breakfast was amazing and the dinner was also tasty. Beautiful cozy hotel!

We have visited Lesperon several times on our way to Portugal, it has clean and comfortable rooms, dogs are welcome and beautiful location. There is a small bar/newsagent over the road to enjoy a beer after your long drive. Leaving the best bits till last, the food is marvellous and staff are fantastic. What more do you need.

Need to sort out the bathroom as bath with shower attachment but not fixed to the wall so if you need a shower you have to hose yourself done which unfortunately leads to the bathroom floor becoming wet.

Love the food which is excellent and also the staff are always so welcoming.

set in a beautiful area, rhis family owned hotel has everything you need - spacious comfortable rooms, great breakfast with local produce, very friendly hosts. their restaurant serves delicious local food. perfect for a stop over while travelling through or for a stay to explore the area
