Nothing - it was perfect

Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Exquis! Great location on a lovely street - plenty of cafes, bars, boulangerie and restaurants nearby. Easy walk into Paris city centre or just a few minutes to the metro. Very clean, well decorated room and everything we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again next time we're in Paris!

We had expected a city view room as that's what we had booked but we were given a room with an internal view. The room smaller than expected but fine for our purposes.

Two fire alarms woke us up during our first night (both false alarms with the staff not seeming to know how to reset it), the room was a little shabby and the wardrobe made our clothes smell, but for the price its still good value

I would have liked a kettle, cups and tea/coffee making facilities in the room and not having to go down several floors in the lift.

It was our second stay at the hotel and would most likely to stay here again. The price is good comparing to other hotels in Paris with the same level. The hotel is situated in walking distance from metro stations. There are cosy restaurants near by. The staffs are very friendly and welcoming.

As is stated in the information the rooms are not very big, but perfect to stay multiple days when you won't be residing in the room. We stayed for a 4 day city trip and were super comfortable.

Friendly staff. Small but well equipped, stylish and clean rooms. Bathroom was excellent, with regular- & rain shower and very cosy lighting. Price/quality is super.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of trendy Rue de Charonne, ideally located for both the area’s boutiques and gastro-bistros and for quick access to the Marais, the Louvre / Tuileries Gardens, Musée D’Orsay etc. The rooms are beautifully decorated, pristine and the beds are very comfortable. You can store your luggage before check-in and after check-out. The staff were all very helpful - booking taxis etc. The perfect base for a trip to Paris.

Friendly staff nice decorative touches and for the price the location was excellent. We had a great stay. Also great to have key card access when a couple as we could come ago with out having to share keys.

Hotel Equis by Elegance was a delightful hotel, one of the best we've stayed at. The location was ideal, near two different metro stops and several bus lines and still in a safe, authentic neighborhood with restaurants, pharmacies and services. The design concept is bold and well-done. Tons of color and fun accent like copper-pipe lighting. The fairy lights in the bathroom grout delighted my teen (hard to delight a teen!). The rooms are European-small but plenty big enough. The beds are comfy. We stayed there twice, one room in the back where we had absolutely no street noise. The room in the front was still very quiet unless you had the windows open. The best thing about the property was the staff. They were very hospitable, allowed me to speak either French or English. (Sometimes the French will only speak English to Americans.) When I got sick, they insisted on arranging a car service to the airport for me, and I was very grateful. When there was a problem with my in-room safe, they had it replaced within the day. The 24-hour coffee/hot chocolate machine is a nice touch. The elevator is typical tiny, but I was grateful for it after a long trip. There is a nice full breakfast available, but there is a lovely boulangerie just two doors down if you want a lighter option or want to pick up a picnic. The property is super clean. In short, I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
