United KingdomThe location is not car friendly and very difficult to unload due to the one-way system introduced after the truck terrorist attack. I would recommend parking at the Phare car park in the port as it allows you to escape Nice without going through the always congested Massena or the Promenade. Also note there is a steep flight of steps at the property entrance, get help from the staff to get your baggage up to the small lift. Areas of the hotel are a bit tired but the views are stunning and compensate for the slight shabbiness.
The location is superb with amazing views over the crescent of Nice bay. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the breakfast with views is a great start to the day. Highly recommend booking Castel Plage situated on the beach below the hotel for dinner or lunch.

We were so dissapointed when we checked-in, because one of the staff members (the italian guy) gave us a different room that the one that we booked (a lower quality one). Just after we spoke the next day with the chief I think (merci beaucoup, madame), she solved quickly the situation. I don't think it is normal in a 4 stars hotel...
Excellent location. Close to the beach and old center. If you have a room with sea view and a terace, it worth all money. Very clean rooms. Friendly staff, except the italian guy at the reception. Reasonable breakfast.

United StatesUnfortunately, the hotel does not have access to the private beach right in front of it. You have to walk 3 mins down the road to the next beach at Opera. Still easy to access and a lovely part of the beach.
Location, location, location! Right on the beach with the most spectacular views of the ocean and the old town of Nice. I would highly recommend this hotel for comfort, room size, location and view. Ticks all boxes!

United Statesthe smoke alarm went off 2x at 2am for about 15 minutes each time. Additionally, because of its amazing location right on the water and pedestrian walkway there was quite a lot of noise from the people outside till very early in the morning.

Australialift is small - 2 people max and you are touching each other with 2 in there! floors in room were filthy - needed a mop. my feet got black after shower and just walking around before bed. apart from that room was clean just need to pay attention to floors.
location was amazing but bad at the same time, windows out to the famous nice beach strip but this meant garbage trucks and noise all night staff were amazing

Room was well appointed and a good size. Excellent balcony. View of the beach and Nice was exceptional. Buffet breakfast was of good quality with sufficient variety to suit all tastes. Staff were friendly and efficient.

AustraliaThe rooms are VERY small but the view makes up for it. No parking so you had to go to one of the places in town and it’s about a 15min walk away. You can unload your luggage right out the front though. There was an alarm that went off at 2am…twice. People evacuated but it was a false alarm
Incredible view and perfect location for exploring Nice. The hotel is located right next to the park where you can walk up and see amazing panoramic views of Nice. It’s also close to the Old Town for exploring, dining and shopping.

United StatesParking is a pain, as it is a ggod 15 minute walk and 25 euro apx a day to park. Interesting that you can take the train to the airport for 1.50 each, vs 45 euro for a cab. ...for backpackers only..
There were problems similar to others we have experienced in Europe, hotels dealing as best they could with high heat in facilities they were not built to handle. The management were very cooperative and helpful in handling the issues as they presented themselves. Excellent location to visit the old town, also the beach is close...however dont get too excited about swimming the large rocky beach proved too difficult for us to handle, you have to be young and have good sea shoes.

United KingdomIt is quite expensive for a hotel without a decent-size comfortable communal space eg a bar with chairs, sofas etc. The first floor rooms have good balconies with superb views of the bay but are rather near the road and are so a little noisy.
Friendly reception staff. Nice option to have breakfast in room on our balcony. Location is excellent - very near the old town and with superb views of the bay.
