Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyThe room was okay, but some items did not work, and they were too old and failing. The equipment was purposely made cheap rather than meant to last for a long time. The room was very little too but enough for one night.
The hotel's price/location ratio was good. They provide free Wi-Fi and breakfast. The staff was super friendly and helpful during my stay. The "budget" part in the name makes sense. It is a budget hotel. You get what you paid for.

United KingdomThe hotel is in the port area, so don't expect the surrounding area to be lovely - it probably was bombed in WW2. Having said that I didn't feel walking around was a problem during early evening. The Ibis Budget and Ibis Styles are in the same building - the Budget entrance is down the side-street.
Clean, simple room. Good proximity to the Maritime Museum in the Chateau de Brest, and a good selection of restaurants and a few Irish bars... Secure covered parking available in the hotel. Great receptionists.

United KingdomHowever, I wondered why each room had soundproofing. Then on Friday and Saturday (if you was allocated an odd-numbered room), I was to find out. Two nightclub on the opposite side of the road constantly opened their doors and the noise was horrendous. This went on to around 3am. No chance to have window open!!!
