I chose this hotel because it's near the main railway station, but although super convenient, if I was staying more than a couple of days I'd chose a nicer area of Lyon. We stayed in a triple room and the single bed had no reading light.

It's a nice relaxed hotel with a comfortable bar area. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable and the staff are really helpful. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. I'd stay here again.

Didn't have much life and restaurant was almost empty on a Saturday evening. lift was also v small, so we had to wait a while to get everyone up to the room

The location. I was expecting it to be closer to the train station. The bathroom are a bit old.

We’d booked a triple, and the downgraded us to a double without our approval. We only had two people but we’d intentionally booked the triple for the extra room. They also asked us earlier in the day of our stay whether we needed separate beds, which I found strange but confirmed this was the case, only to turn up later and have a double bed. As friends we agreed to just share the bed, as it was so late and we couldn’t be bothered waiting for them to change it. They did give us a free breakfast but my friend slept extremely poorly and I’m sure would have preferred the extra sleep…I complained and haven’t heard anything back.

The breakfast was excellent, location was great and room was new and clean.

Very impressed with breakfast, which was available from 6.30am, as we had to leave at 8am to catch a train. Also location was very good for the station at Lyon Part Dieu.

Staff were very pleasant. Provision of fresh drinking water in reception area to fill bottles a real bonus. Saves plastic. Also a jug of fresh water with little cardboard mugs was lovely. Great idea.

I would have appreciated a non-slip mat in the shower.

The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the railway station. Check in was swift and the person at the desk was friendly and courteous. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. Bathroom facilities were good. We didn't eat in the hotel, so can't comment on their restaurant.

The rooms were quite basic and not perfectly clean.

The staff were amazingly nice and extremely obliging with all of our needs - parking, luggage storage, restaurant recommendations, etc. There's a nice area for guests to hang around with billiards, fresh water fruit, sofas, etc.

The key card was a little flimsy and hard to use in the lift but that's a very minor thing.

The air conditioning in a Lyon summer, and the breakfast offering was very broad.

Interior was not new and not highly designed but ok and clean.

For a night close to the train station it was sufficient. The room was not too hot and it was sufficiently useful. It was just what I needed for the night. Restaurants are also nearby and it was altogether ok.
