We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomDinner in the restaurant was a little poor, not many choices and expensive. Found 9 euros for a small glass of wine and 4.70 for a Coca Cola to be excessive for a standard Ibis hotel.
It was convenient traveling on the motorway, easy access. Clean and comfortable, nice and friendly staff.

SpainThe room was very cold even with the heating on, the room was at the very end of the ground floor corridor at the furthest point from the check in desk. There was a very unpleasant smell from the public toilets near the check in desk.
Breakfast for vegans whilst limited was sufficient. As a disabled man the shower in the disabled room was excellent, however the room was as far from the check in desk as it could have possibly been. Being a corner room it was very cold even with the heating on, however the staff supplied us with a supplimentary heating fan.

United KingdomI found the return arm on the door to be too stiff, My. wife due to some physical difficulties would not be able to open the door in an emergency. This could lead to an Eardley person being trapped. I speak from experience as I spent 48 years in Insurance part of which was Risk Management and Risk Assessment. I subsequently stayed at Ibis Irun and Ibis Bonaire, Valencia and their doors were more manageable to an older person.
Ground floor room was more than acceptable. But Staff were a bit hazy on check-in procedure.
