Old fashioned, comfortable, great location, on main square. Cosy little bar, great food. Friendly proprietor. Could not wish for better. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Right on the town square and set in a period building. The rooms are charming and the food in the ground floor restaurant was excellent and prepared by our lovely host Alex. He is an accomplished chef and the produce was super fresh. A great stay and a beautiful Bastide town.

Beautiful place. Right in the centre too. Alex up graded our room which was so nice as it was our anniversary while we have been away. Nothing too much trouble for Alex. Lovely bar area too. Delicious breakfast, and a truly lovely room

Professional and friendly service throughout our stay. The owner was always on hand to recommend places to visit. Breakfast was good quality.

There is no A/C yet, so one has to understand to open the windows at night and close them during the day.

It id a charming old inn located on the main square of the village. The rooms are mostly en-suite, there is a terrace available for communal use. The owner is a cordon bleu trained chef and he serves a 3-course dinner at the bar/restaurant downstairs (request ahead! Delicious seasonal dishes). Delicious continental breakfast included in the price. The owner is very attentive and hospitable. We loved the experience and hope to come back one day.

Small complaint that the stairs up to the 2nd floor weren't brightly lit, a bit dark when climbing the stairs.

Alex is a great host, friendly, helpful & attentive. A fantastic time to visit, as on Sunday's during July & August the square comes alive with local foods, wine, beer & fabulous live music, we had a wonderful time. Our stay was very comfortable & breakfast was included in the price, excellent value. Its a lovely little boutique/quirky hotel. We had the Japanese room, lots of thought had been put into it. The cocktail list is amazing & created by Alex, with a rock n roll theme.Thank you Alex, his wife & daughters for having us we'll be back, and make sure we're with you on a Sunday.

The bathroom being down the corridor was a little inconvenient but Alex had told me about this when I booked. It wasn’t a problem for me but other guests might have been disturbed by my late night and early morning visits.

Alex was a really great host. I received a warm welcome, he was very helpful and appeared to anticipate my needs. In the morning I enjoyed a really great breakfast. The village is lovely, I’d stay there again if I could.

Perfectly located on the beautiful square in Castilliones. Generously proportioned bedroom, delicious continental breakfast and friendly and helpful service from the owner. He cooks like a dream so I highly recommend that you book him for your evening meal. Can’t wait to try his cocktails on our next visit! 🍸🍹

Large room with sumptuous decor and very comfortable extra large bed. Located in the centre of the village. Breakfast was very good with savoury and sweet choices. Alex, the owner was friendly and helpful with tips and information about places to visit and the area.

No private car park. Had to park the car a short distance away but assured of safety. If arriving on a Monday, eating out may be a problem as all restaurants close, except a pizzeria opposite the B & B
