Whilst there was a guest lounge area it was rather stark. Our room was plenty big enough to spend the evening in but did not have the lighting and the chairs to make this convivial. The curtains were insufficient to keep the room dark on a summer's morning - we had to contrive extra black out to ensure we got a good night's sleep. Dinner was fine and ok for price but choice was very limited and very meat oriented - there was nothing for vegetarians though this did not affect us. Portions were very large - we would have preferred more quality and sophistication and less quantity.

The combination of a pleasant countryside location close to a motorway junction was excellent for a short stop over and there was some very pleasant country nearby. Our room (a triple) was perfectly adequate and as the pictures but was otherwise quite basic. We got the impression that the regular double rooms may have been refurbished but ours hadn't yet.

The shower was a bit small but still ok and the rooms were a bit cold.

Perfect location for a stop over before continuing our trip. Very friendly and helpful staff, they waited for us until late for our check-in. The rooms are large and very clean. The breakfast was very good. We'll be back!

Everything was fine

Located near highway, but really quiet. Short distance to viaduct Grabit. The evening dinner was absolutly superb by an appropriate price and best service. Many Thanks

A little modernisation of the bathroom. A dedicated shower is perhaps more practical than a bath.

Location was lovely and relaxing, perfect after a long drive and to prepare for the continuation of the journey. Dining is amazing with very helpful and attentive staff.

In every respect, the hotel and - more particularly - the restaurant turned out to provide a quality of service well beyond what we expected for the cost. The evening meal was on a par with some of the very best restaurant meals we have had, either in France or in the UK. Living in both countries, we are quite frequent users of hotel and restaurant services so our grounds of comparison are well above normal traveller expectations. We also found at the Meridienne that breakfast was of an extremely high order, with an unusually wide range of high quality choices - even at the very end of the breakfast session, which is when we had ours. We were deeply impressed.

Menu although very good was quite expensive and drinks in room very limited (only 1 coffee sachet).

Dinner was very good with traditional French cuisine (frogs legs/sweatbreads for example).

Good restaurant,food very nice,service also very good. Hotel very simple but spotlessly clean. we expected this as it is a Logis. In lovely countryside location but very close to A75.Will stay again.

Very convenient location to the motorway. Dinner was very good. Room was a little chilly but there was a space heater in the room so that minor problem was soon solved. Bed very comfortable. Room perfectly clean.

The put a lot of effort into the restaurant but ambitions are greater then the results. But the hats are extremely friendly and it was a very nice stay

-Good location : close to A75, yet in the middle of green surroundings and no noise from the highway. -excellent food ! Good value for money -highly appreciated that our dog could joun us in the restaurant ! -nice breakfast !

Nothing, really good stopover.

so pleased to have found this hotel! Great location, close to major roads, but quiet and secluded by the gardens. The room was very clean and comfortable, the beds and linen were very good. Staff were polite and friendly and helped us with our language. Above all, the meals were wonderful! our evening meal was just superb, beautifully cooked and presented, excellent value for money. Really good experience, we shall definitely return if we are in that area next year.

We preferred out first room (30) rather than 19, which was much more expensive and not as nice.

The staff, who were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The location was lovely and very convenient from the main road.
