We received a friendly and pleasant welcome and advice about the town. The hotel is much bigger than it looks from the road and includes a garden where guests can have breakfast on warm summer days. The whole place was exceptionally clean and well kept. We had delicious home made plum jam with our breakfast and were able to buy a couple of jars to take home with us. We will open it at Christmas when I am sure it will remind us of our lovely September stay!

The staff went above & beyond. We were escorted to our room & shown in person all facilities. We had a problem with our car & Eric was a star in assisting with this. Breakfast was the best continental we've had - homemade yoghurt & jams (the apricot & lavender was superb). A wee hidden gem. Do not be put off by 2 stars ( probably because there is no Aircon or tea/coffee in room) as they couldn't do enough for you.

The hotel was easy to find and there was free parking in the street right outside. The room was pleasant and met our needs nicely. The breakfast was outstanding, probably my best hotel breakfast for a very long time. Home made yogurt, a range of delicious home made conserves, fresh fruit, local prunes, bread and pastries with as much coffee as we wanted, all served outside pretty courtyard by charming and friendly staff.

The host was very accommodating and very friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. We only stayed one night for a stop over and it was perfect for us. Thank you for having us. Didn’t have the breakfast so can not comment on that.

In a quiet location close to the centre

Everything was fine.

December , a one night stay. We are happy to choose this friendly Hotel again if we return to the area. The weather was close to freezing, no worries, the central heating worked well , our room 33 was clean and cosy, with all we needed for one nights stay. The breakfast room was warm and cheerful, our car was inside the garage at the end of the garden. The member of staff looking after us was lovely and so helpful. The proximity of a good fish restaurant, which was walkable in four minutes, was our main reason for choosing this location, Also close by is the Train station and the centre of Villeneuve, which is interesting for its Halle on the riverside, Saturday morning market and Christmas market.

The owner was helpful from start to finish. Rooms are a good size, a little dated but comfortable. Continental breakfast €8 of local produce would have been served on terrace if it wasn't for a shower. Motorbikes locked in garage always a bonus Great location for town

Traditional style, very clean, room was quiet although Hotel was very close to the town centre. Staff were always very helpful, professional and friendly. The breakfast had great variety with jams and yoghurt made by the Hotel owner which were very good. It was very hot during our stay , there is no air conditioning in the rooms but the fans provided cooled the room brilliantly.

There appeared to be no local decent restaurants open at night so we drove out of town.

Quiet position, lovely hosts, garage parking available. Access to the hotel was easy. Breakfast was basic continental and good. The bathroom was recently renovated.

Clean, friendly staff, and very calm and quiet. Breakfast was simple, but good. We appreciated having a fan in the room. Pleasant interior courtyard to relax. Good value for the money.

The staff were very helpful, polite and nothing was too much trouble. They went out of their way to look after us and to ensure that we had a lovely memorable time. The breakfast was truly wonderful and exceeded all expectations. The rooms and bedding were very comfortable and quiet, which enabled us to sleep and rest well.

An adjustable shower column would have been nice as there was only a high or low option.

The breakfast was excellent with homemade jam, yogurt and fresh fruit, good value for money. the welcome from Eric the owner and jam maker was friendly and informative, nothing was too much trouble. The bed was comfortable and quiet overlooking the garden. There was no bar but tea, coffee, hot chocolate and soft drinks were served in the garden at a reasonable cost and with pleasure.. The decor was tasteful, modern and fresh.

Room is old and double bed is not very comfortable.

Quiet street and lot of space for parking (we parked both nights in front of the entrance). We also liked the breakfast (not included) and the court yard where is served in summer.
