How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The shower could do with a little theromastic maintenance ,as the temperature can go from hot to cold in seconds if you're having a shower.
Situated on a quiet part of the city centre only two minutes from the main centre.

The hotel was a little dated and the room was on the small side.
The location was very good and the breakfast was fresh and offered variety. The staff was very helpful with check-in, parking and worthwhile sights to visit. Our room was quiet and comfortable.

A few minutes’ stroll from the centre, tram and bus connections to go further afield. So quiet, you wouldn’t think you were in the city. Clean, comfortable and well appointed room. Friendly and helpful staff.

Room on the street, i.e. I had to close the window during the night, would have been too noisy otherwise.

Room 20 had a very cramped bathroom.

The rooms are rather small and dark but if you stay for a short time it serves the purpose.
The location is perfect and sfaff outstanding. Hotel serves local breakfast with cheese selection, various cakes, yoghurt and fresh pastry. I would appreciate some more vegetable and healthy options but it was a good standard of breakfast.

Very friendly, hospitable, and helpful staff. Spotless premises in all areas. I had a spacious room with an equally spacious en suite. Comfortable bed. Hotel is in an excellent location. Would I stay there again - definitely

Price of the room seemed too high. Choice of breakfast was ok however it would be nice if we could have some more baguette and croissant (was limited to 1 croissant per person + half baguette for 2 persons)
Hotel location is excellent. Walking distance to the city center. Next to some nice restaurants. Room size was decent . Cleanliness was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Croissants on the breakfast were very tasty.

Although we didn't have breakfast at the hotel the area for this looked very small for the amount of rooms available. It is possible people prefer to walk to the various coffee shops for their pastry and morning coffee.
The hotel is about 25 minutes from the airport. It is situated on a quiet street which has a few coffee shops and restaurants along it. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful when we arrived. Our room was lovely and very clean. My partner and I both commented the bed was the most comfortable of all hotels we have stayed in. The hotel is a short walk into the centre. We really enjoyed our stay.

The room was quite small.
The room was clean and cute. Location was good, only a 5 minute walk to the city centre and about 10 minutes to Rue St. Catherine. Great breakfast with a lovely variety of homemade baked breads every morning. Staff were excellent and really cared about their guests. Especially Samy, he was amazing and wanted to make sure we were well informed and that our trip was memorable. It was, thank you! And, thank you for the delicious wine!!

I'm being very petty but the location of a TV on the bedroom wall in one of the rooms wasn't the best place.
A very nice stay. The hotel is an old building build around a courtyard. 6 of us stayed in 3 x twin rooms and all rooms were of a good size and standard. Beds were very comfortable and the location is perfect and a short walk from bars, cafe's and sights. The staff were the main selling point however, they covered off our every question and need. The home made breakfast is also worth it with home made brioche and bread, cakes (about 3), cereals, jams, pastries, yoghurts etc etc..
