swimming pool was closed! we booked a long time ago and don’t recall anything showing that it would be closed at the time of our stay this should be advised prior to stay via message or email to avoid disappointment

Difficult to not like this hotel, its staff and the location. Not to mention the fabulous wine. Spent too much in the on site wine shop!!!

From the friendly greeting to the room view upgrade fantastic sun down in the bar all of this visit was fantastic. We didn't do breakfast as we wanted experience the town in the morning. Felt welcome and wanted. Will go again

It was a surprise for me the swimming pool was under construction. And I missed a place to sit outside, besides the restaurant.

The weather!

Room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The design was modern and a little quirky - bedside tables that looked like corks! The hotel has magnificent views on the valley side and is very conveniently situated for the town centre. Public parking is nearby and free.

Lovely room, great hotel. We have stayed here quite a few time before, using it as a stop over on the way to/from our French house. Great wine tasting and buying experience in the village.

The bike storage was secure but in fact your bike is left outside, which would be undesirable on a rainy day.

This is a very modern boutique hotel a few minutes walk from the center of Sancerre. Everything feels new shiny. As the name suggests, the rooms on one side of the hotel have an exceptional view of the valley of vineyards. If your room is on the other side, you still get to enjoy this view in the lounge and at breakfast.

Because it is early in the season there were not many people about and I felt the place lacked atmosphere - the bar area in particular (perhaps background music would help).

Superb views although paid extra for the room with a view (but it was worth it). Very helpful staff finding a secure location for us to store bikes.

We liked everything.

The view from the bar and breakfast area was superb! It was nice to have the express breakfast option (not the full breakfast), since we had a full course meal in the evening. The bar is not clearly described in the website, but it is quite a nice and cozy paronamic space with many wine options as well as some simple dishes. In overall, we enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

Don't understand why the toilet set up much higher than other hotel or home use ones. And we could hear who's in and out of rooms around us.

Situated the top of Sancerre town, providing the fantastic view of vineyards while tasting wine. What an experience ! Room is very big.

The rooms are very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The reception area is very welcoming. The bar area is really comfortable and relaxing. Service at this hotel is superb, the staff are lovely. All of them are so friendly and polite. It was especially nice to see Katherine again brightening up reception
