A bit cold but heater was great to take the edge off. the walls are really thin to the next door room. I could hear the lovely old ladies next door until they turned their lights out at 11.45pm and first thing in the morning around 6.45 which was not optimal. There was also a light on the shutter that needs sorting - I raised this with them. The front sliding doors face their own property so the room is not very private and feels quite overlooked with people coming and going etc. Perhaps some kind of panelling or something on the edge of the terrace would aid in this. as I felt a bit like a goldfish! one major issue is that the wifi is on the same network as the family so I didn't feel that I wanted to deny them of their wifi. I think ideally this would be resolved! I needed to research and do some work and this was only possible by sitting in the bar area of the auberge.

Incredible breakfast as Im gluten free and Madeline did me a non bread based breakfast. lovely. Room was very sweet. food was great in the auberge, super friendly and lovely quality. Garden and environment really lovely. Room was basic but comfortable. Bed was good.

It was a wonderful find. We booked it to break our return journey and found a little bit of paradise! Everything was really comfortable and the place was very relaxing! They also did an evening meal (which again wasn’t expected) so it was a great place to stay!

We loved the warm welcome, the comfy bed and coffee/tea facilities. Shower was piping hot. Tasteful decoration and we felt very snug and comfortable. In addition, an added bonus was the provision of an exceptional charcuterie and the recommendation of a good restaurant in Hesdin. Based on the fantastic breakfast provided, we can't wait to return as the location is now open at the weekends as an Auberge with what promises to be a wonderful menu Friday-Sunday. One to be recommended/we will return!

The only down side might be the low(ish) ceiling, and the fact that there isn't a bigger window to see the lovely and spacious back garden!

The warm welcome, the food, the cleanliness, the space, the surroundings, the water pressure in the shower, the breakfast, we loved just about everything! The owner takes her job seriously, does everything to accommodate and adapt, and cooks so well, we ate there every night! ♡ our daughter (3,5y.o.) loved it as well, they had different kinds of toys and were always available to make her stay unforgettable too :) (And yes there is a pool! Almost finished, and already usable!)

9 of us stayed in the nice secluded property en route to the Dordogne - we were welcomed by the friendly and very hard working owner. Rooms were good / clean etc. Nice pool to have a dip in. We had dinner and breakfast - both excellent. Highly recommend.

The pool was so green you couldn't see the bottom, and untreated since July. Paving around the pool very wobbly. Hole in the wall next to the plug sockets that showed the insulation and wire and not safe for young children. Surround around light switch missing. No blind on window - told, when asked if someone had left a towel there that we should throw that over the outside of the window to block the light. Shower leaked into the restaurant below. Breakfast very disappointing - poor quality (tasted like part-cooked supermarket baguette and pastries finished at home, but not recently enough to taste fresh or good for it) and cost €8.50 per adult, plus a charge for the children. One small dish of Jam and butter, small juice, tea and coffee. Worst B&B breakfast in France so far. Very disappointing for our last night, and having cooked specifically because there was a pool.

The beds were comfortable. The owner recommended a restaurant and called for us.

Thin curtains on windows passing daylight, not suitable for people sleeping long time at the morning Breakfast : defrosted "baguette" and " croissant + pain aux chocolats ", not really acceptable in France (land of bread). Fresh morning baguette from a bakery would be great.
