Great place for an overnight stay with fabulous restaurant

It is nicely decorated with a lovely internal courtyard and has a lovely quirkiness to it all, but it is fundamentally an upgraded roadside chain hotel under independent ownership, so wouldn’t meet my definition of “boutique”.

Convenient location a few minutes off the motorway on the way down to the French Alps. Extremely friendly staff. Exceptional restaurant for dinner. Decent enough continental style breakfast. Overall great value for money.

The cleaning of the bathroom could be better. I had a room suitable for a handicaped people and therefore the shower was a little old fashioned with a curtain.

The hotel is situated at the major road from the motorway into Bourg on Bresse (12 km). Quiet location and plenty of free parking space. The restaurant is realy excellent and I was amazed about the amount of people eating there. You raly have to book a table in advance. Room is spacious and the beds are good. There is also airco in the room which was plesant on a hot summer day.

The bathroom is a bit outdated, nevertheless the bathroom and toilet were very clean.

We stayed here for one night on our way to the south of France. Incredibly friendly staff. Our youngest son forget his drinking bottle (which he had hidden under his bed) and we got a friendly call by the staff, to tell us we can pick up the bottle whenever we want on our way back home. Which we did, big thanks for keeping it at the reception.

The bedroom doors are fitted with strong springs (for fire protection) and the next door room was occupied by people who were not gentle when closing, so there were frequent loud bangs, this is not a fault of the hotel, rather the fault of inconsiderate guests.

Easy to access and park, Staff excellent, comfortable and mostly quiet room, Courtyard dining area and food a delight, good value for the standard of food and wine provided.

There was nothing to dislike or complain about

This hotel had a small but lovely swimming pool which was ideal after a 6 hour drive from Italy. The restaurant attached to the hotel was also very good and all the staff were most helpful and welcoming.

The courtyard is closed after the restaurant closes in the evening. so sitting outdoors is too close for the front facing rooms.

It's an interesting one this, because there is a bit of a clash of cultures going on here. It calls itself a boutique hotel, but what you actually have is a building which from the outside looks like a standard roadside hotel. On the inside, whilst the decor is indeed a bit more boutiquey, the rooms themselves are the same sort of size and layout as you would get in Premier Inn in the UK or a Kyriad or similar in France. But it also has a restaurant attached which had some of the best food I've ever eaten (although again in a space which looked and felt more budget than deluxe). My guess is that it was built to be part of a much larger chain of standard roadside hotels, and then has gone in a different direction. We'd stay again on the way down to the Alps for the staff and the location and the restaurant. But the rooms might disappoint some - even at this quite reasonable price point.

Fantastic staff on arrival and departure, extremely efficient and professional but also very friendly and welcoming. Really good restaurant on site. Like, REALLY good. Not cheap, but superb. Good location not far off the motorway for an overnight stopover less than 3 hours from the French ski resorts.

Very friendly reception, in fact all people were. 😊 . Nice and excellent restaurant. Good parking possibilities. Nice breakfast, although not sure it was really corona save.
