Beautifull location with balcony view on the lake/canal. Free parking. Good room, beds and bathroom. Coffeemaker with cups in the room. Friendly staff.

Location was stunning. We were travelling with our dogs. We were given three rooms in a unit which was perfect for us. Plus we all had lake views. We woke up to paradise!

Bathroom had some flaws, e.g. shower, holes in the wall.

Locations close to the lake and good restaurants nearby. Booking on short notice worked out well.

We had just done a 14 hour drive and were looking forward to the rest in a nice place. A small room which isn't the end of the world but it was not clean. The toilet had been used, cups and saucers with sugar spilled, tea coffee not replenished, bed runner marked, no pillow protectors under pillow cases. Mattress protector present. The room was poor quality overall, the bed very hard and uncomfortable, it was very noisy all night with the drainpipe from the room above going through our bathroom so every time upstairs used the bathroom it ran noisily through our room, there is another drainpipe of sorts coming past the aircon unit that trickled all night. The room and hotel is in a poor state of repair overall, the bathroom mirror rusted, walls, doors etc in need of work, it is expensive and definitely not worth the money. The room window has a great view but a very busy public footpath immediately next to it, (within touching distance, we had a dog put its head through the blue bars) it's a well used walk, there are only see through voiles at the window, to get privacy you have to close the shutters on the outside and when we tried to close the shutters it was difficult, we had to move them over large plants. Yes it's a lake view room but that's where it stops, it needs mentioned that there is the footpath right outside the window. Communal garden area very run down. If this was half the price I'd still write the same review. I definitely won't return and I don't recommend it.

some staff are heavy smokers and leave a full ashtray just outside the back window where you have the perfect view of the lake, plus ashtray. also a waft of stale smoke in the reception Also you need to be clear when reserving because Premium Room means ground floor with the world going by your window on the public footpath in front of you.
