I didn’t realize this place was a time share. So when we checked in after a long day of travel, we were met with a sales pitch.

The location is great, right across the street from the water and close to a few restaurants/cafes/breweries.

Staff pretty pushy at check in and by calling the room to try to sell you a timeshare. Local restaurants not great

Elevator was slow.

The room was incredibly spacious. The game room was a nice touch for children. Check in process was smooth and they were so helpful in getting other members of my party their parking pas and keys.

No free WiFi included. It was outsourced to a third party. I could not get access to the two devices that I purchased and when I asked for help I was asked to contact the third party. For the price you pay, in todays world where WiFi is free in supermarkets and is so relied on, it should really be included in the price. This is the first accommodation I’ve stayed in over 5 years or more, including Air BnBs that I’ve been asked to pay for WiFi. The beach area is private with signs all over it saying you are permitted to walk through. A lovely local man explained that residents living across the road own and maintain the beaches and are the only ones who can sit or stop there. It was a little off putting as a tourist, especially when the children wanted to play there. Lots of chairs and old fire pits on it too and it felt like we were trespassing in someone’s garden.

This was a large apartment and was a fully kitted out home away from home. I could have easily stayed in the apartment for the duration of my stay and enjoyed it all. There was a lovely small balcony with a side view of the bay, and a gas bbq too. The resort is situated in a lovely spot close to restaurants and a shingle beach. The pool was a lovely addition and opened until 10pm. Staff were lovely. It’s so close to Canada that you can drive in and out very easily.

modern, spacious, well equipped, quiet and very comfortable, spotless and relaxing, can’t say enough. we were in room 112 which was perfect for keeping our e-bikes with us.

Booking.com did not charge the correct tax, so upon check in, I was instantly up charged $20 that was not included in my Booking.com prepaid price. On top of that, this hotel double charged me. So an extra $600+ showed up on my company credit card statement that I had to explain and then go back and call the hotel and go through the process of submitting my credit card statement for them to issue me a refund.

Everything was Fabulous except that I could not stay there as My daughter was going to be my transportation as well as stay a night or two and has a emotional support dog . Everobe from the front seat, to WorldMark desk to the Workdmark representatives on the phone we’re kind, understanding and very helpful. Booking.com were wonderful. Unfortunately, the GM of the property was anything but the above descriptions.

Staff at front desk were so helpful but would find a way to get an invite in to the presentation! We were tired of saying no! We found a back door exit to avoid the invites!

We loved our stay at WorldMark Birch Bay. It was very clean, updated, friendly staff, spacious rooms, and adequately equipped. I would stay here every time I visited the bay. The only negative would be no air conditioning but most of the year at the bay it is not needed. LOVED this place

This property was advertised as having air conditioning. We noticed there was no air conditioning in our unit. Upon calling the office, they said that the whole building did not have air conditioning. We would not have stayed here if we had known that.
