Beautiful place! Had a Nespresso machine with pods, a gorgeous bathroom with towel warmer, fridge, dishwasher and all the comforts of home. The building was absolutely gorgeous and had a beautiful outdoor space. Paul was extremely accommodating, let us drop our bags off before check in and was very prompt with communications. Also just a very nice guy. Thank you so much for your hospitality! We absolutely will stay here again and can’t recommend it enough!

The host was gracious and friendly, giving me a tour of the premise that was clear and concise. Early check-in was flexibly given subject to the actual situation, which was a big plus. The premise had so much space and many facilities for you to feel home away from home at Versailles.

We enjoyed a really lovely stay in this apartment. Paul-Henri is an excellent host, he was very welcoming even though we arrived late and showed us where to find everything, and although we didn’t otherwise see him we were assured that he was available throughout our stay as he lives in the same apartment building. Everything is exactly as it appears in the photos, it was perfectly clean, and we had everything we needed for our stay. The apartment itself is very lovely and feels very Parisian; it has hardwood floors and panelled walls, which makes the whole experience feel much more expensive than it is! We especially enjoyed using the outdoor space, which is quite private and quiet, and definitely something to look forwards to after a day in the city. We saw almost all of Versailles during our stay, and decided that the location of the apartment is the best place you can be in the town; just around the corner is the cathedral, King’s Gardens, and the market, as well as a number of bars, cafes and restaurants. The area feels family friendly and very safe. The location is perfect for visiting the palace, which is around a fifteen minute walk away, or taking the train into the centre of Paris, which takes around twenty minutes. However, if you stay here, you should also take the opportunity to explore the town of Versailles itself, which is very beautiful in its own right, and often seems to be overlooked by the tourists who come to see the palace. We would definitely recommend.

My only problem was the apartment door lock, which I got used to after first day. Owner has plans to change the lock.

Quietness, safe, great location a walkable distance from one of the railway stations and the Chateau and many good small restaurants. Helpful host. Good coffee and tea and milk and kitchen equipment provided. Large bed and rooms on ground floor and small quiet garden area with 2 chairs.

The apartment was beautiful, French classical style. Location was excellent, close to the Palace, and close to a number of restaurants and bars. It is very easy to catch the train into the centre of Paris. Paul-Henri was very polite and helpful. We will stay here again on our next visit to Versailles.

Street parking is tight (inner city), paid during day and quite limited (but we did get a park each time). Small car would be fine (we had a bigger car). The doorway to the kitchen (also need to go though for bathroom) is low - about 175cm (forehead height for me) so taller people should beware and not rush (I was warned).

Paul-Henri (host) was wonderful. He was responsive to questions and easy to reach as he lives next door. Its clear he has been doing this for while as the place was well set up for 2 people and very comfortable. Location is great, street was quiet, access was easy as its ground floor and on the street side and bed was comfortable (but is low).

The apartment is very cozy. This is the second time we visit, and it is as perfect as previous time.

Kitchen could use some modernisation, though it had most of the things we've need. Heating cannot be regulated within the apartmenet; this can only be done from the owners apartemnt who lives upstairs. Once we asked to increase the heating temperature, this was immedetly done by owner.

Locatin was excellent, nearbye (walking distance) from all Versailles attractions. Two train stations are near to the apartement, which easy travel to Paris as well. We had no problem to find the parking place on the street, which is free of charge from 19:00 until 09:00. Owner was really helpfull, timely providing all information we were looking for prior to our trip. Bathroom was comfortable as well as the bed. Apartement has also a lovely small terrace in the garden, but our agenda was rather crowded so we didn't used it.

A beautiful relaxing apartment with original features,elegant pieces of furniture, and many modern features . Staying at Les Carres felt like a home away from home. Paul-Henri cares about his property and his guests and his attention to detail was much appreciated. Excellent position in elegant quiet surrounding.

We had a very warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was spotless and very pretty, in a terrific location for exploring and visiting the château. The only very minor & temporary downside was that the park in front of the apartment is under construction in Sept 2021 but there was no noise or disruption from it.

The location was located in a residential neighborhood, a short walk from the Chateau de Versailles. it is a beautiful traditional French apartment with hardwood floors. The little plant surrounded patio was perfect!
