There was no fan or air conditioning. For a city that frequently is in the high 30s in summer it seems crazy not to provide a fan at the very least. I had to go out and by one to be able to sleep at night.

The location was great! Very close to all the city centre sites, parks cafes and restaurants. The staff were helpful and our room was cleaned every day.

The location was very noisy, both outside and the other rooms at the same properties. The room was very hot and no fan we provided.

Noisy. You can hear other guests getting in and out and also from the outside.

Manager was really nice and helpful. Location is great, lots of bars and restaurants around, metro station 2 blocks away.

Unfortunately, I did not realize that they did not have air conditioning. Considering that there were 38 degrees in Madrid that weekend it made it impossible to sleep in such a hot room. Opening the windows was not helpful either as the neighborhood can be noisy until around 2am. I am sure in cooler weather this is not an issue, but your sleep will suffer if you stay here during the hot summer

Lack of lift.

First and foremost, Lorenzo the host of the property was truly magnificent. He assisted us with whatever we needed and was so nice and pleasant. Secondly and no less important, was the excellent location.

Great location in the central Madrid, quick access to metro and public transport and downtown objectives. All new amenities and daily cleaning and change of towels etc Staff is very helping: extra blanket or hair dryer etc

Hair dryer was missing but I had my own one with me.

Very good position, close to everything in the city center. Room was comfortable and also the bed. Bathroom a little small but overall the hostel is very clean. People are very kind and friendly. I recommend it.

Walls made from paper, we could hear everything from the neighbour. I mean really everything. Owner doesnt speak english, we handled this by Google translate but it was a little difficult.

It was relatively clean and correct, but the room had a strong smoke smell. Bathroom small. Furniture very simple. Mattress not comfortable.

My waist hurt a lot because of the hard bed. It was very cold in Madrid, there were few blankets, I was cold. The shower door was constantly falling apart.

Although the accommodation is in the party district, the street is still quiet. The Prado is a 7-minute walk away. After we checked out, the landlord allowed us to leave our package until the afternoon.

The location of the hostal is a dream! Despite the fact that the people who are working there don't know English, they are really kind and polite( google translate helped us a lot). The cleaning lady gets in to the rooms everyday,but i don't think she changes the towels or the bed sheets (which is not a problem for us). Also, we had a room at the side of road and the view was really good. Last, we thought it is good that you have a magnetic card to get in to the hostel .We will definitely go back!
