The owner Lillian is wonderful. The breakfast on the second morning was so yummy. The walk to the centre of town is so easy. Would definitely be back.

It is a little tricky to find, with a very narrow laneway, but Google got us there safely. It is worth it for the views and serenity.

Our host, Lilian, was very helpful, friendly and kind, making us feel very welcome. The breakfast each morning was beautifully presented and delicious. The apartment was beautifully decorated, quiet and peaceful.

Everything was perfect.

A beautiful apartment with all amenities in the most amazing setting in the hills overlooking Chambery. Our delightful host Liliane met us with the key and promptly offered us a cup of coffee in the garden. Even though we were only there for one night, we were really impressed with her kindness and hospitality.

I don’t remember anything, I didn’t like

it has a very personal atmosphere, it’s colorful and comfortably furnished . It’s outside of Chambery, but really not far to walk and it’s garden is wonderful .

steep walk up from the village but very doable and worth it at a leisurely pace to see the town and for dinner/shopping. taxi etc. available otherwise

My only issue is potential clarity behind payment as this is not done via the app, I was very preoccupied during my stay and so forgot to pay while I was there. The approach is unconventional and might catch some people off guard (such as me.) I believe the host should handle this shortly after guest arrival somehow, as it causes more stress on both parties in the long run if my situation is repeated. I have a lot going on right now and this has added to personal pressure.

This is the ideal set up in my opinion. There is the peace of nature but the town is readily accessible for the various attractions on offer. Hiking routes are also close, though I did not have time to do them and the season was not optimal. The host did an outstanding job, I truly felt at home despite staying only a day and two nights. Breakfast was above and beyond expectation. However, breakfast is only served on the first and last morning. Host offers to pick up guests from the train station if required. The room is very generous and cosy. Kitchen facilities are a huge plus for saving money by not always having to go out. Host offered to do my laundry at no extra charge. The setting in nature does wonders for recharging after the rigours of travel. The property is very interesting as well and the concept behind it is both fascinating and ingenious.

The Wi-Fi wasn't great, but we weren't here for that. The shower is in the middle and thus puts water everywhere when one walks from the main room to the bedroom.

A very nice place, without much noise. It's very well situated (stunning view, parking spot, very close to Chambéry on foot (15 minutes)). Comfortable, cooking stuff available, heating very efficient, the hostess was very kind and helpful, the bed was comfortable, there is a garden right next to the room, breakfast provided the first and last day of the stay. This place is really nice. You can walk to the city centre in 15 minutes ! We would like to thank the owner for being so kind and helpful. She welcomed us warmly and provided us with lots of tips for things to do or see arround. We will definitely come back!! See you soon! J & S

That I couldn’t stay longer because I didn’t know it’s so good!!

Everything!! Liliane is such a nice host. Bring me from the station when I arrived and take me to the station when I left. The house is more beautiful than the photos! And super comfortable! So warm, quiet and peaceful. The view of the mountains and the smell of nature just make you so relax. The breakfast is homemade and delicious as well. Everything is perfect!!

We loved everything. It is worth getting very specific directions from Liliane for the last 2 minutes of the journey to the house, our Sat Nav got confused at that point.

A well appointed apartment in a charming rustic setting. Peaceful, comfortable, spacious, spotless. We enjoyed Liliane’s homemade breakfast outside in the pretty garden. Liliane is a warm and welcoming host.
