Beautiful setting, lovely restaurant with great views and good food. The rooms were fairly basic and very hot with only a dodgy fan to keep us cool, but it was a very hot day.

The rooms are a little dated

The hotel is set in a beautiful location and the pool is immaculate. The staff were so friendly, when my husband fell I’ll whilst we were staying there they called the emergency services and helped to translate for us. They couldn’t have been more helpful during a difficult time.

The room and shower room were very small. The large terrace could do with better seating and table.

The staff were very welcoming especially the maitre de in the excellent restaurant. The grounds including the pool looked delightful but unfortunately it rained the day we stayed.

The rooms were a little small and I trapped my finger in the door of the toilet as a result of this.

The location was excellent because very close to the small town of Uriage-les-Bains, near Grenoble. The breakfast was excellent and as long as you chose by 9.30 am, there was no problem staying on, including in a lovely garden outside.

Small bathroom with only bathtub, familyroom small. Restaurant closed 2 days out of 3 and we did not get a table the only day we had the change to do dinner.

The surroundings was beautiful. The swimming pool after a hot day. The breakfast.

Only minor complaint is a lock on a door to the building where we stayed wasn't working properly and caused a small inconvenience as we were locked out for a bit of time.

Hotel is in a beautiful, countryside setting with views of the mountains in all directions. Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Great breakfast. Wonderful pool. Kind, warm and welcoming staff.

This hotel have most beautiful views than any hotel in this area. If you are only about view from the window then this hotel is the best one. That is why we chose it. If you are fussy and expecting anything else you can normally expect from the hotel with advertised restaurant then probably this hotel is not the best choice for you (maybe due to covid) But we are happy that we chose this hotel as the main thing for us was a view from the window 🙂

Unfortunately Restaurant not open on Sunday evening but we knew that when we booked and took stuff into the room. The owner and staff were very happy to allow us to use the hotel plates,cutlery etc.also asked us if we wanted a last drink from the bar. Everyone has to have some time off!

When we arrived we asked to stay at the hotel restaurant to have a dinner but the lady at the desk said the restaurant was fully booked for a marriage banquet . Since the hotel is located far from the village center and there was a thunderstorm going on we asked if was possible to cancel the reservation in order to find another place . The lady at the desk answer that there was non problems and they did not charge for the rooms , then we went away and we found a place that was having a restaurant available inside . Unfortunately , in spite of the promise I have been charged for the full amount of the two rooms , 260 € and , in spite of some phone call and e mail till now I have not received an answer on my claim to have back the money improperly charged .

Simply amazing. There are no other words to describe Hotel Les Mesanges. Everything was beyond perfect. The location Is incredible, nestled on the side of a hill overlooking beautiful Uriage Le Bain, the hotel Is surrounded by meadows and forests. The location Is incredibly quiet, the rooms are up to standards and the bathrooms are Modern and very confortabile. The staff Is super friendly, the restaurant Is pretty good, and the outside area Is a Dream come true. Free and spacious parking.

One of the staff unlocked and walked into my room and 8am showing people around! He didn't even lock the door again after. The staff all left early so on arrival I had to find my own way in. Check in says till 10pm but staff went home and closed at 9pm. No phone call to explain, just an email which I was lucky to find. Dirty bath towel, light in room is so dim I had to use my phone light. Also had to use my phone light to check in and find my room key in reception. Would rate lower if I could. Walls are paper thin, good luck sleeping. They are now hoovering the halls at 09:30. Just realised there is no shower curtain... am I being pranked?
