What a beautiful little inn in the heart of the town of Napa! The grounds are beautiful and our room was clean, comfortable, and very pretty. It is close to the old historic center of Napa and it's very easy to reach the wineries further up the Napa Valley. It is also convenient to the Carneros region and some Sonoma wineries as well. Now that we have found Stahlaker House we plan to make more visits to Napa.

It was in a quiet residential area, fun antique furniture pieces. Lovely sunroom to have tea and coffee. No food service, but small refrigerator in room, and microwave near sunroom. Large windows looking out on patio, and grassy backyard with large trees and a steam.

There was no breakfast. Everything was was in really good shape. It was a little weird not having anyone at the facility to talk with. But it was fine.

The toilet backed up several times. Other guests knocked on our window invading our privacy because they didn't know how to get in.

Loved the special touches Luke snacks in the lobby and a mini fridge in the room stocked with drinks. The bed was very comfortable and the main house was beautiful.

I did not know what to expect before we arrived. I was a little nervous about the accommodations and the set up of the house. WOW, was I ( my husband and our friend from Germany) pleasantly surprised. It was perfect. So cozy, & so quiet. We truly felt "at home"! The rooms with en-suit bathrooms were great. The main house areas were better than we imagined. The snack/coffee supplies were perfect. The outside area was serene. We had an issue in one of the rooms which was handled immediately by the owner. We had a 3 week vacation from San Fransisco to Vancouver. Stahlecker House was our favorite 'hotel'!

No hot water. Our busy schedule precluded us from being able to contact owner. Shower and sink both did not have adequate hot or even warm water. Sent email after visit and they responded to thank us for letting them know, but no follow up or offer to entice us back. Too bad we really liked the accommodations

We were in the Garden View Room and the light outside was on all night and it made it a little hard to sleep even with the blinds down.

Seemed from the pictures to be more rural setting, but it’s right in the middle of a subdivision. No ice. Zero direct communication with the owners. In fairness, they did warn us that it was pretty much us on our own. The bed was high centered, and we both had to sleep close to the middle in order to prevent ourselves from rolling out in the night. We had the Marilyn Monroe room.

The room is clean. Had a great trip soaking tub.

Ron's home was cozy and just what we wanted for our Napa getaway. Easy contactless check in. The rooms are clean and just as pictured. We had the Garden Room and our other family members had the Hepburn Room which was just right for 3 adults. The common areas were well kept and inviting. This is a place where I will be returning to. So happy to have come across this lovely Inn and to have met Ron!

Pretty property in a quiet spot (but a short Uber or walkable to the center of town). Nicely decorated. Lots of snacks and drinks provided for free.

No breakfast but a lovely outdoor terrace where we ate something we purchased nearby. There was a great machine for coffee and tee and nice snacks. Very quiet location and exceptionally clean. Liked it was near downtown Napa. Glad we had a car to drive over for dinner.

No dislikes - everything we needed was provided.

A very interesting and eclectic home, many lovingly displayed collections of photos, books, and other memorabilia. Peaceful setting on a creek, deer occasionally wandering through for a drink. Immaculately clean and well provisioned with snacks, drinks, and bowls of fruit. The location is 5 minutes from downtown Napa. Sonoma is less than a 20-minute drive. We would definitely like to return soon!
