The bed in the room was very creaky. The booking stated pay at property, so we took enough euros in cash to do this. However, the hotel took the payment from the card we had reserved the booking with without asking first. We asked a member of staff who said this is something that they now do, and did offer to refund the payment to the card so that we could pay cash. If you are wanting to pay cash it may be worth messaging the hotel directly first to let them know that’s how you intend to pay.

The room was beautiful. Very clean, high ceilings and big windows. The location of the hotel could not have been better. We looked straight out on to Masséna square, with the fountain right outside. Stunning view to wake up to. We were on the edge of the old town, near the hundreds of restaurants, and also a minutes walk away from the promenade and the shops. The tram stop is right outside and the train station is around a 20 minute walk. Staff were friendly and helpful, booking a taxi for us to the airport on our return home.

Such a fabulous spot!! The location is perfect. Only issue we had that we weren’t aware of was that there isn’t a lift. Otherwise a perfect spot!!

Toilet cubicle was a little on the small side. Shower cubicle could be a little more private. Stairs could be an issue for some but this is a lovely old building without lift.

The suite was clean and spacious. It was very comfortable. The location was superb and walking distance to the sea front and restaurants.

Property wasn’t as responsive when reaching out regarding transportation from the airport to hotel. Also, this building does not have an elevator so you will need to walk

The interior was nicely renovated in the deluxe suite and overlooked the massena square. If you’re coming for carnival this has a perfect view from the room.

I found that the staff hours were weird and inconsistent. Our room wasn’t properly stocked with shampoos as well. The lack of a lift was also not great.

The location was superb, and the size of the rooms were great. Was overall very pleased with this boutique hotel. The security was good.

Every hotel I've visited has always provided tea and coffee in the room. Unfortunately, here, there was no tea available :( Some inebriated tourists on our floor were playing loud music and repeatedly slamming doors all evening. We didn't feel comfortable confronting them, and there was no one available at the reception to address the issue. The floors in the room are quite cold to walk on; it's great for hot summer months, but during winter, walking barefoot might not be ideal. It's advisable to bring slippers with you :)

A wonderful location — close to everything (transport, restaurants, cafes, promenade, etc.). The room was spacious, very clean, and modern, featuring a comfortable bed with extra pillows available. The gentleman at the reception was very friendly and welcoming. Good value for money.

The tenths are not enough to cover the lights out of the windows . The room has to be obscured in a better way

Having done the marathon the day after , the position is fantastic to reach in few minutes the starting point. Room very large and comfortable

Minor issue - the entrance is underwhelming with small signage and a dark stairwell. Entrance is shared with a hotel with more signage for the hotel than these suites. It felt like you were definitely in the wrong place on arrival. The lights in the stairwell at night were very dim.

Beautiful, huge room - modern and very clean. Loved the keyless entry! Close to everything and easy to get to/from the airport with the nearby tram. A big tick for me was the provision of face cloths/face washers in the bathroom! So very rare in European accommodation. The fellow on reception was so very friendly and even carried one of our heavy bags up 4 flights of stairs. We had an issue with using the safe and he came immediately to help us.

It’s a little bit non-descript, without a true lobby. No lift.

Once you are in your room, the room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is great, steps away from the beach, shopping and the square where the large market takes place in the old town. We loved walking everywhere and never felt the need to venture too far from the hotel to see all the sights.

Having to lug our luggage up the stairs. We stayed for 4 nights so once we were settled it wasn’t an issue.

Loved the location in old town and the view of Masséna Place. The room was spacious and spotless. The bed was comfortable. Parking at Sulzer was easy and close by.
