Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsThe swimming pool was closed. We knew that upfront so it wasn't a suprise. Further there are way to many parking lots available. Luckely we found one nearby the apartment, otherwise I had to park the car downtown which is about 10 min. walk.

France- The toilet seat was broken. - WIFI is poor, - there's a cheapest gray toilet paper in the toilet. This place is noted by stars and costs fortune if you don't to do reservation by booking. I think that is unacceptable...

BelgiumA pool was advertised but is not available in winter (note the pictures show a hot outdoor pool surrounded by snow... but it is closed). The elevator didnt work during the stay. This can happen for a day or two, but not fixing it after 4 days is excesive. We had to load/unload all our luggage to/from the 3rd floor. Reception hours are very limited, if you need anything there is no one around. There was a huge snow fall and I had to borrow a spade from a restaurant nearby (very nice people), but there was no one to help from Pierre & Vacances even if they run 4 nearby residences.
Location is fantastic, right on the slopes. Apartment is nice and of a good size. There are plenty of restaurant and shops around.

United KingdomI was overcharged by yourselves. Bad start. Your advertisment price was 769 Euros. I was charged 860. The apartment was high, very steep for 74 year olds. The pool was very cold. The boot room was terrible. No heating, unable to get boots on.
