We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesMost of the staff were great, including concierge services. The concierge staff was excellent. The front desk, including IHA check-in another story. I am still waiting for that first smile from the front desk. Working in a great property like this should be both fun, and a privilege.
This a great property. The setting, views and facilities are top notch. The rooms are very well appointed, and comfortable. It felt great to come “home” after roaming the backstreets of Marsailles.

Later that same day when I opened my suitcase at next hotel in Aix-en-Provence I realized I had left it and called the hotel. They checked and told me that nothing was found in the room! Needless to say, I was not happy!

BelgiumBreakfast was a bit a struggle each day to get the attention of the personnel for coffee or eggs. we had the feeling they were understaffed… an empty dirty table was easily visited by birds like pigeons… We had a sofa bed for the kids and it was not made when we arrived, later we had to ask for extra duvets since they had not given any for the kids. And when using the toiletries the first day, it was cleaned aka removed while not empty and not replaced… not very eco-friendly to remove a soap bar after using it once.

IrelandWe were a group of 4 staying in the room, I noted with booking.com that there was a child with me, but when we got to the hotel for some reason this was not noted in the booking. The room was definitely too small for 3 adults and 1 child. This is not so much the fault of the hotel- more the fault of booking.com for showing this room type as a suitable room for a group of that size. I was disappointed that there was no netflix on the tv in the room.
The location was amazing. Right by the main tourist area. Hotel design was nice. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

Israelmost of the staff speak English very poorly. we stayed on the top floor, and there was a constant intense smell of cooking in the hallways, probably there is a kitchen located on this floor. we have ordered breakfast to the room several times but there were always problems with the order, missing dishes, and trying to communicate with the staff was sometimes impossible due to the lack of English speaking employees. before we checked out we asked the concierge to call us a taxi van (four persons stay) and even after mentioning the word van for several times and making sure the taxi will be on time, we were surprised to find out that the concierge got us a petite car. we were late to the airport because of their negligence.
the location was perfect, the staff noticed our request for two adjacent rooms on a high floor.

SwitzerlandThe minibar was laughably overpriced, even for a luxury hotel. In the lobby, when we had a question or needed to check in/out, we kept being somewhat overlooked in favor of people who were either dressed better or were louder. (Look, I like to be comfortable--never shabby, though!--and we are non-demanding, quiet people. I guess sometimes it's just preferable to deal with the loud and/or ostentatious ones first...)
The building and location could not be beat (except that it's at the top of a hill with no easy access for people on foot; it's quite a walk after a long day of sightseeing!). The room was immaculate, and that bed the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel! This was also the quietest hotel room I've ever had, which is a massive benefit for a light sleeper such as myself.

SwitzerlandOur room was advertised as having a patio/terrace and I assumed this would mean a view. Unfortunately when we arrived we only had a window overlooking the internal courtyard. This was disappointing. We asked to change but wasn’t possible. When I checked out the couple checking in were being offered an upgrade to a room with a view/terrace!! The room also advertised a tumble drier which we thought was strange. Obviously it didn’t have one but perhaps make sure description on booking.com is accurate.
We loved everything about the hotel. It was a very special experience. The breakfast, beds, staff, valet parking etc. The concierge service was excellent- especially when I needed to find a doctor for my husband on Easter Sunday.

United KingdomHaving to pay 15EURO to use the spa facilities was a surprise at check out as I don't remember this being mentioned. The breakfast service was a little slow & I had to ask 3times for some coffee. Nothing bad about the hotel it's more that the room was so expensive I would have expected it to be perfect.
The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are really comfortable and the staff were lovely. The place is a landmark in itself of Marseille and so was a great place to stay.
