How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We didn’t feel that we were in a 5* hotel.
The place was nice, clean and comfortable and easy accessible to the centre of Paris.

Spacious and clean room. The breakfast is rich and tasty. Car parking place is available just under the hotel. Contact the hotel before arriving to get the parking name and address. The metro is 2 minutes walk and within 10 minutes you are in the Champs-Élysées. Plenty of shops around that open even on Sundays and holidays.

Arriving to the hotel by car is very complicated, and when calling for instructions, the Hotel wasn't concerned .
If you want to stay in la Defense is perfect.

It would have been nice to have a desk and chair, shower was a bit awkward. Bathroom sink was clogged and drained very very slowly. Called to mention but was never addressed.
Front desk was staffed by bilingual and very helpful staff, rooms were cleaned very well daily, breakfast was great.

Due to infrastructure construction very difficult to access hotel by road if you do not know exactly where it is. However there metros near by.

Staff in the front desk wasn’t that friendly but I guessed we visit in the busy season they probably a bit overwhelmed.
You can see Eiffel Tower and Champs-Elysees few min walking distance from the hotel! They clean the room nice and well, every time coming home feel really good!

Discretionary water would have been a good thing to have in the room.

I saw a little cockroach in my room when I came back one evening. Very shocking and disappointing Also the carpets look old and stained.

No Starbucks in hotel as stated on the information. No bar. Not easy to park.
We had a car and drove in to the attractions which were only 25 mins away. Eiffel Tower & Louvre

The bar was the biggest disappointment. The bar was not open during the weekend, and when it was open, the ambiance was not what we were hoping for.
We really liked the interior design of the hotel and rooms. The staff (without exception) was super friendly and nice. The rooms were large enough, and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection of various foods, although someone that likes a warm breakfast (sausages, etc). may find the offering too little.

Blocked view even from a suite room. Lightings in the room are quite dark. Hair dryer could be better.

The hotel is very close to a metro station however it is in the business district, so it is a couple of stops away from the main tourist attractions. It is not a major issue though.
The Room was very nice however the air-conditioner did not work properly so the room was slightly hot during the nights. The breakfast is nice, but not exceptional. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and the Starbucks outside the hotel was a bonus! There is also a nice shopping Centre in the area.

-Arriving with a car was very tricky due to heavy road/building renovations. -AC was bad. It was warm. They offered us a fan which isn’t what we really paid for but we were traveling with a positive mindset and didn’t want to be upset.
-Walking distance to the metro and Westfield. -Staff was amazing and helpful. -Near the Champs by metro. -They said they gave us an upgrade but I didn’t notice a difference. -They put in extra effort to surprise us for the honeymoon occasion <3.
