2nd floor (en reality 3rd floor) without an elevator or someone to help carrying my luggage (I was coming from a long trip with a big luggage)

The shower was broken, it wouldn't stay on the wall and had to be handheld. There was not enough toilet paper...... just a few sheets.

Climbing of stairs required, not friendly for people with lugguages or mobility issues. Low ceiling too.

The only thing was that the bed is shrieking a lot when you move on the bed, but not a real problem. Overall it was a great stay

It was a good experience, the host is the sweetest man. He helped me bringing my luggage upstairs and waited for me to check out and help me with my luggage downstairs as well. Also he recommended me a lot of places to visit in Montpellier and even drew a nice map for me and he has a great sense of humor. The place I've stayed was super cute, it had everything in the room. A shower, a double bed, a couch, a closet, a table with chairs, a tv and even a coffee macbine. It's a very nice designer room, he has a really good taste of interior choice.

The drains started smelling awful after the first night. No bath matt was provided, just two towels. Be mindful that this accommodation as listed only has a fan which during the summer months make the stay quite hot and uncomfortable.

The bed was comfortable and it is in a central location.

We booked this stay based on the photos on the site and we did not get the same room as pictured. False advertising!!!!! Room was way worse/more cramped. No good ventilation, was so hot during 30-35 degree days. It’s so hot in Montpellier and coming back to accomodation is nice for the heat relief. There was no such relief. Floor was so dirty and dusty. No good lighting, felt so dark and depressing. Fridge wasn’t cleared out from last stay and was not cold Window was broken and covered up with plastic.

One of the worst nightmares as a traveler. Worst place one could ever imagine. In a nutshell, I had to find another hotel. Access to the property was very confusing. The key locker was hidden. No lifts & the so called room’ was on the second floor. Very dangerous, particularly broken staircases. Very old, dark, smelly, warm place when an animal cannot stay. Temperature was around 30 C but no fans. Windows are broken & replaced with plastic sheets. The bed was on a separate platform (roof) which can be reached by a wooden staircase. I have explained all these to the owner Omar & requested a refund but he flatly refused. I’m blaming Booking.Com for advertising such bad properties in their website. Not a single guest should stay there- that’s my recommendation. The photos will be included here too for you to judge….

The pictures on booking.com are complete false advertising, the room looked like precisely zero of the photos. Additionally, the room advertised a fan which was not present and led to very uncomfortably hot nights. The room was also very difficult to find with 4 seperate doors needing to be unlocked with various keys obtained from two different lock boxes. Unfortunately none of this was communicated with us prior to arrival and we were lucky that the previous owner came across us stumbling round and helped us in. The check-in of 6pm is also difficult to work around. The wifi passcode was also incorrect requiring myself to chase it down through various channels. Overall just bad communication and an inaccurate description on booking.com

The location was really good, right in the centre with almost all main attractions easily walkable. We also got some kind assistance from a previous owner when communication was not upto scratch from the current owner.

The entrance to the rental was in a weird location, there were 4 doors before reaching the room, once through the main door. The room/studio was poorly finished (nails in the ceiling, broken ceramic on the floor). It was dirty (mirror, towel rack was dusty, floors where very dirty, our socks were black after just a few minutes). The towels were air dried and were super rigid and possibly dirty if I'm being honest.

The location was great, very close to a lot of restaurants & not too far from Place de la Comédie
