The manager was a bit rude the next day about us keeping the different room, saying it wasn’t the hotel’s fault that booking.com didn’t tell them - which is true but he said that we couldn’t prove we’d requested it. I showed him where I chose the twin bed option on the booking page and he got quite defensive and then seemed grumpy with us for the rest of our stay. Therefore, it’s best to check after you book as the option might not come through to the hotel. The other staff were really lovely though.

Lovely decor, comfortable beds, very nice staff, great location, and overall a wonderful place to stay. Very accommodating in changing our room to a twin room, which we had requested on booking.com’s page but it hadn’t come through to the hotel.

The bed was not comfortable, the mattress was too hard. The pillows were also too hard and high. It was raining and the water came through the balcony door one time. Bad ventilation in the room and bathroom. The room had to be aired out all the time and the bathroom was very foggy after every shower.

Excellent staff. Very friendly and helpful. Even got an upgrade when checking in. No complaint. Nice interior, big room and nice location.

The staff was very friendly and helpful from the moment of the check-in to the check-out. The room attended all of our needs. The hotel is in a good location, in a walking distance to many metro stations, markets, boulangeries and so on.

We went there as a couple for four nights. The location was great. 20-25 minute walking distance to Louve museum. The room was clean and comfortable. The best part about the hotel was the hospitality of Alex who took care of us every time we need something. He was so polite and helpful. We would definitely stay at Hotel Peyris Opera visit Paris again.

The staff wasn’t very friendly, it felt like I came to their home. It was cold. We asked about +2 blankets. They gave to me only one in reception and without the sheet. Housekeeping ignored the sign “do not disturb” and came to the room. We left 30€ on the table and when we came back it was 25€. We told the situation to receptionist and they said “it’s not possible that they stole it” like we are stupid or what? They have only one iron for a whole hotel and when I asked about it, they said that they don’t know where it is…

Location is nice, enough space in the room, everything you need is there.

The room was small for a couple with 2 luggages and the shower screen didn’t block the water in which was a bit annoying to clean up after every shower but nothing that spoiled our stay.

The staff was lovely and the location is excellent, close to bars, restaurants and metro stations!

the hotel was expensive and so I thought I would be staying in a really lovely hotel. the hotel was nice, but it was definitely three star. I guess that actually hotels in Paris are REALLY expensive and so for £200+ a night, my expectation was a lovely hotel, but actually it was a nice hotel.

*No kettle or fridge! You could get hot water from a machine in the breakfast area but it’s an inconvenience * very thin walls! Could hear everything the room next door was doing and saying hence affecting sleep.

The breakfast was ok, but felt a little expensive for the price. The attic room had slightly limited head room round one side of the bed. To be really picky, maybe the towels could be bigger and fluffier!

Excellent location - walking distance from Gare du Nord and several metro stations, lots of great restaurants and bars on the doorstep. All the staff we met were really friendly and helpful, looking after our bags between checking out and an afternoon train. The room was cosy and reasonably comfortable, with some quirky decorative touches.
