You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United Arab EmiratesVery rude and unprofessional staff at the hotel. No one spoke English in a five star hotel with limited service time available. Wanted to check out at 7 am, no one at the front desk was available. A representative from the hotel approached us with a very rude tone and did not want us to leave unless check out was completed although having all my personal details on file. With a lot of unprofessional back and forth he let me leave with my wife. A few hours later the receptionist called to process the payment which was no issue. Prior arrival no one at the desk was helpful to book a table for dinner in any of the restaurants they offered stating its fully booked. Not to mention we had a suit in the hotel, I had an argument with the lady who barely spoke English and didn't want to do any effort to book us a table. I informed them that I will cancel my visit and won't come to later receive a call an hour later to say a table is booked. Long story short we had dinner and there were three empty tables all even just goes to show you the level of service this place offers. For the price you pay for the hotel and restaurant I am sure you can find a better place.
