Not a criticism of the property but a warning to users of Apple Maps. There are two locations shown for Solemare but the one on the North side of the port is the correct one. The wrong one is halfway up the busy road to the citadel. We found out the hard way and spent an anxious half hour driving around in busy traffic before we figured out the error.

Located right on the port with easy access to restaurant and the citadel. The hotel has secure free parking so we were able to leave the car and do everything on foot.

Modern hotel with lovely decor and some quirky features. We had a junior suite with 3 windows in a double aspect, and the view of the Citadelle was breathtaking.

This property is perfectly located to enjoy the spirit of Bonafacio right on the harbor. We stayed only one night with our group (4 rooms) but wished we had more time. The hotel is creatively decorated but all of our clients enjoyed its character and comfort.

The breakfast was good but we would have preferred a version where it is included in the price and one can pick for him/herself. 17€ for that formula where you needed to ask for each item felt a bit pricy so we chose the continental version. The room looked fantastic but the toilets would need a renovation to match the rest of the room.

Lovely hotel in the harbour of Bonifacio with the prefect view on the marina and the citadel. We had a suite with two balconies which was lovely. The staff was extremely nice and it felt like almost be at home. They also have a lovely pool at the back. Close to all restaurants on the otherside of the harbour. 5 min walk,

Fantastic location on the marina, the room was newly renovated and well furnished. Private parking was very useful, and there was a wide range of bars and restaurants in walking distance around the marina and at the top of the impressive hill. Within 30 minutes drive were some of the most beautiful beaches we've seen in Europe, with crystal clear water. Bonifacio makes an ideal base both for sightseeing around the island and investigating the town itself. Sardinia is also only 50 minutes away on the ferry.

The wifi was a little patchy and we often had to go down to the lobby to get a connection.

The view from our room over the marina and the old town was spectacular. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I really enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool. Loved the original artwork.

There is nothing we didn't like.

Our stay was idyllic, me and my partner loved it. The view over the harbour was spectacular and a pleasure to wake up to. The two beds we had were very comfortable, the room spacious and clean, the bathroom facilities excellent. The location is perfect - as central as you could be in Bonifacio. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Even the cocktails in the bar were fabulous. If we came back to Bonifacio, we'd stay nowhere else.

Would have preferred mugs in the room rather than paper cups - even these weren't replaced on the second day. Limited tea and coffee facilities in room..only two sachets of instant coffee and stirrer supplied (no sugar, milk or tea). Food at breakfast was good but advertised as buffet. You were served over the counter and had to ask for each item. Choices were generally led by the server and you weren't able to look at the options and have time to choose. Would have preferred self-service.

Perfect location with views of the port and upgraded us to a suite for a special occasion which was amazing. Lovely pool. Nice big comfy bed and great bathroom facilities.

The room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the Bonifacio harbour which was fantastic, the double glazing in the room worked a treat at night. All the staff were friendly and always eager to help. We would stay in this hotel and the room we had again no question.
