The room was a little tired, in need of renovation. Quite a steep walk up to hotel from parking.

Room was functional, bed was comfortable. Tea and Coffee making facilities. Room bigger than other hotels of same standard. Breakfast was basic, although what was on offer was of good quality. No real complaints.

Quite a hill to get up to the hotel but didn’t bother us too much. The door to our room wouldn’t shut unless you banged it. The shower didn’t have a shower curtain so the bathroom ended up soaking a lot of the time. Hotel food and drink was really expensive 6 euros for 2 drinks.

The pool was quiet. It was close to the town (about a 15 minute walk). It was super clean and the maid cleaned the rooms often. Staff were really friendly. View from the hotel was great.

Despite a message to say that we could check in at 3, we were kept waiting until 4.30 before we were given a room key. The room we were given was unacceptable, dark with a view of the back of two parked cars and no privacy from passers by. The manager said we could keep the curtains closed for privacy. He eventually ungraciously showed us a more acceptable room after initially insisting there were no others available. We should not have had to put up with this after a very long, hot and tiring drive. No fridge in room.

It’s not about the hotel, I guess the centre of Martigues doesn’t offer much. We arrived hungry after a long drive and the restaurants that were open doesn’t really offer descent food so we went back to the hotel and slept for an hour before heading out again to have dinner.

In the room there weren't enough electrical outlets. There was only one next to the bed. Then there were 4 outlets under the desk, so you had to crawl under the desk to reach them. Of the 4, 3 were occupied by the TV, Fridge, and a lamp. We unplugged the fridge since we needed 2 outlets there and still wanted TV and lamp. Of course, that got the fridge to defrost, and we ended up with a puddle of water on the floor. The rooms, hallway and entry are very outdated. Doesn't need much, but a bit of sprucing up would go a long way. Breakfast was nothing special, but okay.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were clean.

what everybody else said for me is wrong . It was clean , no mould issue , bedside light was working , no dust in sheets . it’s perfect for a one night sleep , quiet area , easy to find . i was very satisfied . dinner was great in the restaurant . the price says it all !!!

The staff was formidable despite the hotel closing down they gave excellent service respect and answered questions as needed.
