How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The isolation of the room walls was not great, and so it was a bit noisy.
The units were spacious, clean and comfortable. Super convenient and practical location.

Photos on the website look different related to the quality of the facilities and furniture in general.

All good
Near tram B stop. Clean and well laid out apartment. Breakfast was very good. Good location away from centre. Public transport system very good and great value. 9 Euro for 48 hour pass includes buses, trams and boats. Seamed to be limited to 5 rides a day. Need to check. Bordeaux beautiful city worth visiting Le Cite du Vin.

The fact that there was no A/C, because during midday it was a bit hot! But you could open the window and it was more than ok!
I really loved the location, near the tram station The room was big enough for one, even two people!

Great location, next to all amenities and easy access to Bordeaux city centre by tram. Accommodation as described, simple but all good.

I couldn't fix the shower head to the wall. Had to hold the shower head.
Good location for a conference at Université de Bordeaux. Nice restaurants and bars in the area too. Clean. Quiet. Comfortable bed.

Looking at the pictures and the reality of the room, it defers quite a bit. On the website pictures the apartment has a table in the room with a TV, some nice pictures on the walls, a warm atmosphere, some lamps and new appliances. The toilet is huge but in not so good condition. Maybe that's why they don't have pictures.... The room is good size but much colder atmosphere than in the pictures.
The hotel apartment is well located for our purposes (1 night) with a supermarket near by and restaurants around where to order food.

Bathroom definitely needs refreshing... Nothing dramatic, but it can't be left unsaid for the price of the stay.
Convenient location to go working at the university campus nearby. Small but resourceful "Forum" plaza just below, and well connected to anything else in Bordeaux via tramway B line.

Room was very dated, especially the bathroom. Bath badly fitted, short shower curtain which served no purpose as it was far too short . Humming noise in the room, occurred every night at a certain time, think it may have been the pipes,boiler. Lift was not working during my stay nor would it be for a month and I was not advised before my arrival, thus not giving me the opportunity to make other arrangements. Hotel not aware if I was able to do the stairs without struggling. Tv had very limited channels, which was s a shame as most hotels these days have cnn available as an international channel. Reception hours limited, would be useful if it stayed open during the afternoon and not disappear at midday.
Well located and clean. Liked having a little kitchenette.

Service , Communication , the hotel staff wasn’t friendly had no experience .. bed for the baby was old and without mattress . sockets were not tight. Elevator was broken .. no information or help with the stroller or luggage etc

Very handy location, right beside a tram so easy to get in and out of city centre. Nice to have a fridge in the room.

Room was dirty and very hot. Shower was bad. We were given the wrong code to retrieve our keys had to chase down manager at 1 a..m.
