The hallways of the hotel are still a bit outdated but the rooms and main areas are nice.

Not much! Parking could get difficult after about 1700 and air con was a little noisy!

Excellent location close to the centre of town. Extensive choice of foods for buffet breakfast, clean quiet room with very good showering facilities. Friendly helpful staff. We only ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was excellent. Nice pool and spa facilities which could get busy at times.

Nice location close to a small river. Decent restaurant, Michelin Bib Gourmand. Some wonderful wines at modest tariffs on the wine list. Pity that you wont be able to sample the 1990 Palmer, I drank the last bottle.

No parking spot available, the gym is closed for some unbelievable reason in the evening so is sauna and pool . You have to pay a ridiculous deposit for mini bar consisting of a cola can and a pack of crisps.

I didn´t like that the bathroom without a window was humid and smelled due to the lack of an appropriate ventilation. I told the receptionist and she sent a technician to look after the ventilation. They said that it was fixed, but the problem continued. | Although the breakfast buffet was varied, the quality of fruits and cheese was moderate.

I liked the location near by the river and park. Also the sauna was pleasant after a hike. The breakfast buffet was varied and the dinner excellent.

Staff were rude. Air con did not work. Fridge was broken and dangerous as over heating. Booked a table at the restaurant to say it wasn’t booked in the end soo had dinner in our room. No night staff to deal with issue of air con not working. Receptionist lied about making the room cooler. Manager the next morning refused to give her name as I wanted to complain to booking.Com. She said i could have a refund if i didn’t book through booking.com. Seems very unfair.

5 min wait for a waitor in an empty bar. Poorly trained reception staff. Lack of local knowledge. Over priced. This is an average three star hotel.

We booked the hotel because of the swimming pool for our kid. On arrival at 17:00 we got told that the pool was only open for kids until 17:00. When we mentioned that there was nothing like that written on booking, the only remark we got was: uou should book hotels on their website not on booking.

The food was perhaps a bit overpriced for the set menu in the evening and charging 7E for some butter was not the best move.

delighted to arrive in the rain after a hard day cycling the first stage of The Western Front Way. Our room had a great view of the river and the shower was amazing. Secure parking for the bikes. The hotel is very modern and the staff attentive. Breakfast was excellent and fuelled us for our onward journey.

The elevator was broken 5 out of 7 days, this was not easy with a little kid at the 3rd floor. The bathrooms are somewhat outdated, the heat of the water fluctuates. When we arrived, we were unable to reserve a table in the hotel-restaurant for several days, which was the whole reason why we booked this location (it makes it easier with a baby) in the first plce. Fun fact is that we therefore discovered that the citycenter was a 5 minute walk and had several very good restaurants that were actually a lot cheaper.

It was a nice location next to the citycenter, with a nice park and several restaurants in the vicinity. The room was spacious. The staff was so kind to compensate us for the broken elevator.

nice, professionally run hotel with good facilities; nice to have a spa area and be able to book a massage, after 3 days of hiking; excellent breakfast buffet, worth the somewhat hefty price for it
