How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Rooms are very basic, wifi didn't work well in the room, breakfast rather mediocre, when wanting a better dinner the superthin, burned entrecote was not up to par. Remote from the city centre sometimes held back the presidents travels
Clean hotel with a friendly and service-minded staff, mostly good food with a changing daily menu. Secure area close to the US Embassy and presidential residence

I had asked for a room with strong Wi-Fi as I needed to work. was told I had been given one. the signal in my room was too weak to connect to my laptop. also when I had a shower the room flooded (the shower is not recessed enough in the floor) so I had to use my towel to prevent the water spreading
staff were very friendly, food was good.

I found the hotel, mainly the room quite basic. It is functional, so that could work as a quick solution for a hotel, but for me would not be the first option in Libreville. Definitely not impressed with the mattress.
The hotel was open late, with welcoming staff. Very good spot in a residential area. Quite a safe location, and good professional hotel security members.

I stayed previously at ONOMO hotel in Lome, so my expectations where very high. Compared to ONOMO hotel in Lome, this hotel is dated, lacks that style and character. I love my coffee first thing in the morning before going for a run, the room did not have any facilities for tea/coffee. Unlike ONOMO Lome, this hotel has no gym.
Clean rooms, excellent location, close to the beach, good routes for morning jogging, fantastic breakfast, pleasant and extremely helpful staff. They organized my airport pickup and organised local transport. There was a functional ATM onsite.

The breakfast was ok and the location it is close to the airport which is good however I don't see value for money but it's probably the best option in Libreville even though all the hotel are overpriced in my opinion.

The rooms were advertised on booking.com to include a refrigerator, but they didn't. Neighborhood not particularly interesting to walk around.
Elegance and style of the hotel. Comfortable rooms. Good restaurant inside the hotel.

The airport shuttle, which was an important factor in selecting the hotel ceases service before the big flights from Europe even arrive. Bed was harder than expected but still relatively comfortable. Individuals who like firm beds will be fine. No soap or shampoo provided in my room, but the other room my co-worker stayed in had some. No water provided.
Safe location not too far from the airport. The restaurant was excellent and was fast relatively speaking for Africa, in general. Good air-conditioning. Water pressure was excellent in the shower. Modern interior. Good value overall for Libreville.

Very small rooms, food options r limited and very expensive, exchange rate at reception is very poor, toiletries in room is very limited, not easy to find a taxi, no mini markets/shops around.

Aircon did not work in first room. No staff member spoke any english. Rooms are worn out. Doors full of water stains. There were no soap or shower gel in the room. They had me booked only for one night. Paid for two nights with visa card. Booked put the sunday due to horrible night - room were next to the swimming pool with live music playing the whole night. Hotel refused to refund the second night. The reception clerk ' - Patrick, stated that is Onomo policy that they do not refund if paid by Visa card.

1. My dinner took over an hour to be prepared. 2. While charging my phone and battery, a fuse blew. I lost power and my adapter broke 3. I was told breakfast was at 6. When I came downstairs they said 730, but I left at 630 so I did not have breakfast even though I paid for it. 4. They would not compensate me for breakfast or lack of electricity in my room
The room was comfortable, clean. Hot water in the shower was awesome.
