    “An excellent choice for visiting the borders... Clean, freindly, central and comfortable... Was made most welcome by the owner who explained everything to us about the hotel and it's local attractions etc. The room was bright and welcoming and there are even binoculars placed on the window to sea the views... milk was in bottles kept in the fridge not plastic containers, cofeeand tea 'natural' not packaged... even traditional shortcake to nibble on...”

    “The host was excellent. We needed an early check in for a wedding so had to request this. Messages were replied to promptly and they managed to accommodate our request for this, for which we were really grateful. The building and the room were beautiful and it was easy to find. The shower had excellent pressure, better than our one at home! Wee mini fridge in the room was a great wee touch and the mugs were a decent size (rather than the daft wee mugs you normally get with a hotel room)”
