“The manor was very good value and comfortable beds”

“Will and his family were very friendly and helpful. The location, an easy walk to and from the station, was ideal for me. The Oddfellows' pub is just diagonally opposite across the road, and they have live music on Fridays and Saturdays. I needed to relax and didn't go, but the music wasn't loud enough to disturb me and they finished at a considerate time. The room I stayed in, 6, gives onto the garden at the back, and is thus quiet (although I doubt if the rooms at the front are noisy.) One thing I would suggest is that if you have food in your room, you store and use it with care, keeping it in one of the property's portable fridges, for hygiene reasons. There is a washing line in the garden, which I found useful for drying wet clothes. I didn't have breakfast, so can't comment on that. I found it ideal for my purpose (walking the Coast Path, using trains to get to and from starting and finishing points.)”
