“We wanted to attend Bedford Regatta, so the location and the room was ideal. I booked the room well ahead through booking.com, but then received four e-mails offering upgrades which I would have considered, but it was near impossible to get anyone to pick up the phone for reservations or reception when I made multiple attempts and when I finally got through nothing was available which was disappointing having been led to believe there was. Our room had no view (226) and the air conditioning unit did not cool the room to a comfortable level, but otherwise had everything we needed. Breakfast and car parking were both included which was welcome and acceptable.”
