    “Clean, comfortable place, we were at first scared about it being a "container" 😃 but dont let the name fool you, it is a nice enough living space with also basic cooking amenities like stove, microwave etc. Owner lives right next door but didnt "invade" in any way, was pleasant. She has nice dogs also and having breakfast in the small garden is also nice. There is a cool coffee and food place right next door, we didnt try it as we always came back late and was closed but seemed very good. There is also cool Shell fish shack nearby. Can recommend!”

    “Stayed at The Cottar in April - what an amazing and special place! The location is superb- right on the water - we saw White Tailed Eagles, Seals, Dolphins, Otters and much more from the garden. Eoin was extremely helpful and gave us lots of interesting information for the area and a nice welcome pack. The Cottar itself is comfortable and well equipped (lovely open fire ready for us when we arrived - very cosy) and has an abundance of interesting artefacts and history. Only a short drive to Broadford for supplies and the location gave good access for getting around the island.”
