  “Good assortment of items for a continental style breakfast in very pleasant and relaxed orangery setting. Beautifully restored and furnished house and extensive grounds. Rooms well provisioned with bathrobes and slippers, tea-making facilities etc. We were seeking local respite from building works in our home and were made to feel so comfortable that we stayed nearly a week, rather than just the one night originally planned. Very peaceful and excellent value. Highly recommended and Chelsea and Darren, the live-in caretakers (and Patricia the owner) couldn't have been more hospitable. Would certainly suggest it for any overflow visitors that we might have.”

  “The parking was great, entrance to the property was very good, the room was very pleasant although I would have welcomed a long mirror and a little table next to the bed and the whole road was very quiet and tranquil, overlooking the garden. The owner was very welcoming and helpful and I would recommend staying here.”

  “Nothing. I arrived to overflowing sewage from the drain outside the door. The stench eminated throughout the building. I walked into the communal space and it was like a squat, rubbish, clothes, layers of filth. In the apartment which I was staying for 2 days, there was no TV. The owner said it was damaged on previous check out when I called. I asked what I was supposed to do for the two days I was there... He said it was being repaired and would be back in two to three days. The studio itself was not great, the pictures are cleverly taken to give the appearance that it is far better than it is. The smell of the sewage was in the apartment. There was no way on earth I was sleeping in the bed, the bedding was grubby. I checked out immediately and into a hotel an hour later. Not acceptable standards.”
