“After a long journey, there was a warm welcome and access was straightforward. The property is newly refurbished so everything was lovely and fresh. Our room was at the front of the building with french windows and you could just see the sea through the trees. The bed was very comfortable. The welcome tray looked lovely with tea/coffee etc in small clip top jars, and a hand written welcome note. Currently the opening hours of the bar/restaurant is 10am-8pm so if you were having an early start you'd have to look elsewhere for breakfast. As we were taking things at a leisurely pace this didn't impact us. The bar/restaurant has been beautifully design by someone who has an eye for detail. There is a large room at the back which sells larder food items and other items. It is also nice to sit outside in the courtyard and have a drink in the fresh air. The staff were very friendly.”
