“My first visit to Northern Ireland so I didn't know what to expect. I picked Kilcreeny Lodge as I wished to be close to Belfast but not in Belfast itself and I found Kilcreeny Lodge ideally located. Whilst it's on a quiet country road within minutes you can connect with major roads so travelling around Northern Ireland was very easy. The views over the surrounding area are wonderful and reminded me of the farms and fields of England 60 years ago ... wildflowers, mature trees in the hedgerow, etc not huge fields of Rape Seed England seems to grow nowadays.”
“The room was as described. It was clean, and had all the necessary amenities for a good night's sleep. The beddings were clean. I stayed in the room with the external bathroom, and it wasn't much of a hassle getting out to use. Thank God, I met no one between. The breakfast was adequate with a menu for what was available. The owner was very accommodating as we had an early start and she fed us before the 8-9 am usual breakfast time.
Most importantly, I had a very late flight back and she kindly allowed me to stay in the lounge before heading back to the airport later that evening. All her staff were friendly.”
