“From the outside The Royal Oak looks like an ordinary pub, but inside it is far from ordinary. We were warmly greeted by Jason who showed us important things like where to find the heated room for drying boots etc., and also the complementary tea, coffee and delicious homemade scones.
The interiors are attractive and relaxing, the rooms comfortable, and the bathroom had a bath and a great shower.
The food is amazing, and the three course dinner menu great value. Rezina our waitress was as warm, friendly and helpful at breakfast as she had been at dinner.
We had a great stay and plan to return.”
