A great antidote to corporate blandness. A good hotel with a very nice pub, with great character and great staff. The location in the Northern Quarter puts you at the heart of the local action And all that for a very reasonable price

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Great location in a funky part of Manchester called the Northern Quarter. Very convenient to public transportation. Walking distance from Picadilly station for train to the airport.

    Everything was great

We felt absolutely comfortable here. The location is great - the rooms are nice and very clean and the staff is extremely helpful and very nice. An absolute plus point is the pub on the ground floor of the house where you can drink and eat well. If we come to Manchester again we will definitely book a room here again. We thank you for everything. Nicole and Oliver from Austria

    Everything was just great.

The place was welcoming and staff were super friendly. It was busy the whole time. Rooms were quiet, you can’t hear anything from the bar. The food was good for lunch. Bar area was always busy. What a great find this place was. Purely by accident I came across it when looking for somewhere to stay while we went to a concert at the AO Arena and visited family in Manchester. I flew back to UK to attend this concert and see family somewhere central. My daughters and I stayed here, we were a little early for check in so we had lunch in the pub, it was a really nice atmosphere. The room was clean and tidy. We attended the concert and preferred to go back to the hotel rather than trying to find somewhere else for a drink. Great atmosphere. The bar staff dod the check in/out and it was no problem at all. Breakfast was lovely and a great addition. Will definitely stay again.

The bathroom could do with a deep clean and had some water damage. The windows didn’t open for fresh air, however the aircon did cool the room down.

Great location near lots of nice shops and restaurants, the room was a great size and nicely furnished.

Nothing not to like!! This place is excellent!!

The hotel is beautiful!! The room was exceptional, clean, fresh and so relaxing!! The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful....couldn't fault them!! We ate in the pub, fabulous menu and the food was gorgeous....and we were lucky enough to stay on Quiz night, and even though it was just between me and my 2 teenagers, and a fun group opposite, it was fab fun and made our night!! Thanks so much!! I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely stay again!!

Smell of mould in the corridor, mouldy shower, noisy air conditioning.

    N/A.

The hotel is situated in a historic, characterful building. There is a bar and restaurant. The bar/restaurant area, upstairs, was beautifully decorated and the food was delicious. The room, I slept in, was tastefully decorated and had ensuite facilities which worked very well. The bed was comfortable, with a firm mattress, which enabled me to sleep peacefully. Despite the hotel being in a vibrant area, I was not disturbed by noise. There was a hospitality-tray, in the room. Breakfast was served in the upstairs bar/restaurant and was delicious and plentiful. Staff were kind and helpful. Everywhere, in the property, appeared to be extremely clean. The hotel is only a few minutes walk away from Shudehill Bus Station !
