There were snagging that had not be addressed. Mainly electrical problems. Bad electrician I believe. First room we were given very cold no heating and bear wires hanging out of bathroom towel rail. We were given another room which also didn’t have working heating she came to do heating but it only blew out cold air there was a small radiator which worked fine. The bed side lights flashed continually so we could not use. BATHROOM TOWEL RAIL NOT WORKING. No maid service for next day so towels not changed and still wet from no towel rail had to ask for clean towels. Only 2 bath towels no hand towels. Ask for hand towels we were left 2 floor towels for shower. No telephone to phone reception had to use Mobil and phone hotel. Very little staff only 3 seen. They were new. One just started she tried but made things up as she went along. The other just a month. Didn’t get chance to ask the other because she was like a busy bee around the place. Really nice staff really tied their best but very under trained. I really felt for them. They had just be thrown in the deep end and couldn’t swim. Saying all that I would give them another try cos I believe there were all teething problems.

Very noisy next to a busy road. Breakfast was chaos. No fried eggs, they kept running out of everything . We had to have our breakfast in stages, bacon and sausage , 10 minutes later hash browns and scrambled egg arrived then five minutes later the mushrooms. They ran out of orange juice , milk and bread. Should really of asked for a refund on the breakfast

The kitchen needs sorting I don't think there are enough staff, we were a table of 4 and 2 meals arrived way before the others. 2 people who we know on the table behind waited an hour and gave up. The food when it came was really good and we were not in a hurry

We had an upgrade because our booking com reservation hadn't transferred properly. The staff are helpful and polite. The food was good.

I don' really have any dislikes apart from the door handle in the bathroom hanging off but it didn't spoil our stay. We will definitley but booking again.

The room was very comfortable and was perfect for our needs. Breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of options. The young man that was on the desk and bar thoughout or stay was very helpful and well mannerd.

Room 104 with a double bed was too small and no place to sit except the bed. I found the beer prices high with £5 for a bottle of Newcastle brown ale a bit expensive.

The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. The bar was well stocked with a good assortment of bottled and beer on top.

Unfortunately I don't think our room had ever been vacuumed. Lots of crumbs/ dirt on the floor along with a hairband and some love heart confetti. Bathroom toilet seat wasn't attached.

Staff were great, kitchen had just closed when we arrived but the guy on reception asked the chefs to make us a quick meal which was lovely. He warned us out room was very small but it didn't matter to us as it was just a room for the night. Location was perfect for us.

Facility's and location good. Was nice having the breakfast area although the selection wasn't as good as expected..bacon sausage and a bit of scrambled egg..minimum Cereal in bowls to spoon out some whole pieces of fruit and a toaster to toast your own bread.

small room was really small, though sufficient to stay one night. not much sound insulation unfortunately, someone had alarm at 5am on Sunday! could hear alarm, then people talking etc

well it was alright, decent breakfast for £8, plenty of parking.
