We liked everything

The room was very spacious and clean Loved the pillows, you don't usually get that many pillows in a hotel and normally need to ask for more. The staff topped up our teas, coffee etc, we needed to ask for more milk and they were very happy to help. Reception staff were very welcoming and friendly, particularly the duty manager (didn't get his name) Location was perfect

Many hotels I've stayed in have subtle lighting for use at night which makes night-time visits to the bathroom. Our room was almost pitch black with the lights out which is great for sleep but not for moving around.

Staff were friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a superior room on arrival which was a bonus. Room was spacious, clean, quiet and well appointed. Breakfast was good and location was conveinient for our trips into Bath

Pool was a little cold

Lovely and friendly staff, at check in we were told we were upgraded to a balcony room for free which was an extra. Views were stunning, the room was definitely worth the price and the facilities were high quality. Would definitely visit again and would highly recommend. Very convenient location for tourists as it’s walking distance to most parts.

Great location near to the city centre and within easy walking distance of Bath Spa train station. We liked the pool, jacuzzi and steam room. We also liked that the cards for the room were made of wood.

Things were a bit dusty - the kettle and refreshments area and the TV.

Stayed here before and wanted to return to show it off to my husband. Had a relaxing stay, loved the size of the bed and the bathroom with separate bath and shower. The room is spacious and TV is large enough to lounge on the bed and watch comfortably. The hotel even left me a little birthday note and a bar of chocolate 😍

perfect location for exploring Bath, only snag is the lack of parking. Very comfortable bed, and large double room (big enough for one more bed, we estimated) Hotel seems well insulated from outside traffic noise.

We celebrated my mom's birthday and decided to visit Bath for one night. I had emailed prior to request some balloons and a cake, and upon arrival, we received an upgrade to a family room which took us by a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious and very comfortable, upon entering we found the balloons and the cake already staged, we were also greeted with some bath scented salts and a hotel chocolate which was a cute addition. The staff were extremely pleasant and everyone was very friendly. The price was very affordable, and we could not believe the quality of the hotel for such price. Thanks to everyone for making my mom's day special!

A very comfortable stay with friendly and helpful staff. Ideal for exploring Bath for the weekend. The mini fridge was really useful and I liked being able to get fresh milk for our room.

I didn't like that I was given a big folder in the restaurant to figure out what was suitable for a Coeliac. The menu should be marked GF (gluten Free) beside meals that are suitable.

I have stayed in Apex Hotels many times in London but this was our first time staying at Apex City Bath. The hotel is perfectly located and the staff as in all other Apex Hotels we have stayed were super helpful, welcoming and professional. Unfortunately we did not have time to use the Spa facilities this time but they looked great. As I have come to expect from the Apex group of hotels the rooms were spotless and well appointed. We will be back!
