Was set within walking distance to everything and staff was extremely helpful we went here for my daughters birthday and I ordered balloons for the room thought it was only going to be one balloon and we got into room and she had 5 balloons. A lovely happy birthday note chocolate simply things but go a long way.

1. The constant stench from the bathroom drains was quite unpleasant and made worse by the fact we could not draw fresh air in. We had it checked whilst we were out but didn’t have any follow up. We had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times, but the smells seemed to even be lingering on the curtains. 2. We could only get about 4 tv channels to work.

We loved our big room and the swimming pool and sauna area were beautiful. Every staff member we dealt with were lovely. The hotel was located within a short walk of almost everything and had good access to the No 4 and 41 buses for Odd Down Park n Ride.

Toiletries were not enough, only having 1 sample size of lotion and shampoo for 2 people and so I had to ask for it The toilet seat was not very comfortable No coffee maker, only had instant coffee

Pool was a little cold the second day and very busy. No dressing gown or slippers to go down in. No dedicated jacuzzi, though a few jets in the pool.

Good sized room with luxurious bathroom; quite affordable by Bath standards. Comfortable bed. Heated pool downstairs with sauna, steam room and heated lounge chairs. Excellent central location.

Parking was quite far away and expensive. Quite a bit of noise from other guests opening and closing doors

I felt like certain aspects of the pool/sauna area weren’t cleaned as regularly as they should have been!

Complimentary upgrade to a family room + other little touches for my mum’s birthday absolutely made this trip. Was also clean, comfortable and well decorated etc. Staff were all very friendly.

The Manager was amazing. He really made the stay extra special. Enjoyed the gym and spa facilities. The bed was so so comfortable. Location was perfect in the heart of the city.

Wonderful stay at the Apex, spotlessly clean and staff were so helpful and welcoming. We stayed during the Bath Half weekend and the hotel was perfectly located, close to the start line and even kindly provided bottles of water for runners! Would definitely recommend, thanks for a great stay!

Only complaint would be the sound proofing wasn't the best - I could hear someone returning back to the hotel in the early house but that can't really be helped.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable and the bathroom was well fitted. I was staying in advance of running the Bath Half and the team had set up bags with water and protein bags for runners to wish them luck, it was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. We were so impressed that we've not booked to stay in the Edinburgh hotel when we're there next month.
