Room comfortable, but could do with net curtain at window so mail curtains can be left open and people can't see in.

Main downside was the bedding, lifted the sheet to get into bed to find some strange sticky stains. Called reception and they immediately came to change the sheet. The other downside were the lifts, very slow with loud beeping sounds.

Staff were amazing, hotel looks lovely for its age. Bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was fresh with alot of choice. Plenty of parking with cctv which was comforting.

Room was comfy and clean but overpriced for what it is. Adequate buffet breakfast but not amazing, like warm coffee. Whilst room was at the end of the hallway, it was noisy till around 3.30am with guest from a wedding party.

Good location for our requirements and and plenty of parking.

Not the Hotels fault but maps don’t take you to the correct place so some better lighting on the entrance sign would be useful. It also smelt a bit like an old people’s home in the corridors

Motorway noise constant when windows open but when closed non-existent; very little parking spaces available when I arrived due to volume of residents, I suspect. Phone charger couldn't reach the bed as the plug was too far away from the bed.

Nice enough breakfast, lots of trees around, somewhat feeling of nature, room nice. Warm room,, comfortable bed. Had a good nights sleep. Older style hotel, but well enough kept inside. Cosy. Radiator, not air con was a great plus.

the only hotel I’ve ever stayed in where you don’t get a glass in your room for drinking. I had to have curtains permanently closed as was looked on and into from other rooms so zero privacy. Brick hard mattress and flat lifeless pillows

Very lacking in atmosphere, very much a 'function' or corporate venue. Meandering corridors to most rooms and certainly the outside walls at the back In need of tender loving care.

Extremely helpful staff. Pet friendly. Lovely setting.

I ordered starter and meal at the bar and they brought them both together. They took our mains away but they were only luke warm when they brought them back. common sense should tell them we can’t eat both at the same time.

It seemed to be a very long walk from reception to the room - going up and down stairs. Not all rooms are that far though!

The room was clean and comfortable. Shower was strong and hot. Ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, which were both fine.

The shower had two modes- hot or not. The window catch was badly damaged from people pulling on the security lock to open the window. The WiFi wasn't the best- it kept booting me off and asking me to reopen and accept the Ts & Cs. The lift was out of order.

There wasn't anything that I liked, but there wasn't anything that I particularly disliked. Staff were pleasant during my interactions with them.

I got charged twice for the room which I challenged. Showed the proof on my banking app to the manager and was still challenged in front of other customers which was embarrassing
