Instructions provided in the booking information on how to the access the property by car are poor. Sat Nav directions with the postcode lead to a narrow one way street which you then have to reverse out from onto the main street. Parking information is only provided inside the property. You then discover that parking is available on side streets but not outside or close to the property, which once you are aware of is not a problem. We enjoyed the property but disappointed by poor cleanliness which was a surprise for accommodation of this standard and price. The inside of toilet required cleaning on arrival, which is not what you want at all. The tiled floors looked like they had not been cleaned especially in the bathroom, and the microwave oven had pastry flakes inside.

Excellent location with view direct onto prom and beach. Good selection of of pe-provided continental breakfast items. Modern and well furnished, and quite a pleasant different experience for B&B.

Small room, they left us a bottle of water and wine, no contact with the host, very nice room and comfortable bed.

A very comfortable room right on the water. David, our host was very welcoming and provided one of the best breakfasts we have had.

Being on the ground level we didn’t consider just how many people walked past on the foot path or how many people exercised their dogs many of whom had them on the grass right in front of where we were eating at our table and even a couple pit their paws on the steps up! We are dog lovers but some people might not be!

We were aware when other neighbouring rooms when the plumbing was in use.

Breakfast provisions were more than adequate for our 2 night stay and conveniently located. As we were in the courtyard room, parking was required to be elsewhere some streets away.

The room had everything we could need. We could eat breakfast at time best suited for us. After the first breakfast, David asked us what we would like for him to replenish and if we have any special requests, which he then provided for us. The room was very clean. The cuttlery and plates where cleaned after we used them.

It’s not possible to park at the back of the property is you have anything above a smal car.

Lovely, comfortable room. Very clean. Location is excellent. David was really helpful before we arrived and after we arrived. Lots of little extras which were well received.

We stayed two nights. Did not sleep well due to poor ventilation in room. Window would not open. Had to open door twice in middle of night to get some air. Also extractor fan in bathroom very noisy and went on for 35mins at a time.

Lovely big bath sheets. Easy check in/ out. Adequate breakfast provided. Fresh milk and orange juice, cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, pastries and bread for toast. Excellent location.

Nothing!

It was super clean, comfortable and so quiet. Brilliant location for the beach and the harbour. Great variety of breakfast options and even some wine to chill with. We loved it - hope to return

We had a good time in May at the Bayview B&B. The room was clean and comfortable., the B&B lovely. Breakfast was very good and we got good recommendations where to go. Many thanks for making our time such great. Gunnar & Steffi

Having to go home

It all, location, room, comfy bed, continental breakfast which could be filled up every morning if you ran out of anything.Also lovely touch with wine which went down well by the way couldn't fault anything but most of all the lovely host David who makes you feel so welcome and when we left we felt that he was our friend great down to earth gentleman also great housekeeping staff so we will definitely be back.

There is not much to dislike. The bed is a double, which is comfy but used to a bigger bed at home.

The room is perfectly located for a lovely and relaxing stay. The sea view is amazing and you can hear the waves crashing from the room as well as sit out on the terrace to admire the view.

This small but comfortable apartment is located right on the beach in Stonehaven and there could be no better location. The rooms and outside area were perfectly clean. We were in town during the folk music festival and the music was everywhere. One great advantage of this particular unit is that there are no stairs so it was easy for me to get in and out even though my walking is impaired, some of the other apartments have stairs. There is a fridge in the room with orange juice, milk and good food items to have for breakfast so you have ultimate flexibility in the morning. They wash all dishes each day so there are no chores at all. I love the beach in Stonehaven and we could walk each evening along the boardwalk along the beach and harbour. I will stay here again when I am in Stonehaven.

Sea view ground floor room - the bathroom was down a little passage. Needed to go through a fire exit door and little passage to the private bathroom.

Perfect location right on the beachfront.

The only downside was the outside area wasn't as good as the photos that were advertised. Apart from that it was good enough.

It had a lovely Seaview with it's own balcony and door to the property with few stairs that lead to the beachfront. It came with array of breakfast for you to choose so that you could eat your breakfast on the balcony in the morning it also came with teas and coffees sugar and biscuits.It was well worth the money for a relaxing Seaview.

The furniture has seen better times.

I'd wanted to stay here since my very first visit to Stonehaven. The view is just great and we had breakfast on the terrace. The breakfast selection was limited but okay.

Lovely clean spacious room. View from terrace out to sea. Plenty of items for breakfast: cereal, bread, jams, yogurts, cereal bars, fruit juice, tea & coffee.

Disappointed not to be able to see the sea. I didn't realise that our room was not on the seafront. Not a fan of no-contact registration and departure - as overseas visitors, we enjoy contact with our hosts - but it was efficient and easy.

We liked everything

The breakfast items were sufficient, the bed comfortable and location was perfect. The shower was clean with good pressure. The complimentary wine was a lovely touch.
