My dinner was pretty average.

Cosy and enjoyable stay. Lovely location. Comfortable bar with diverse patrons and good beers. Staff kind and very helpful. Excellent breakfast.

My one small bit of feedback was that our bed was so so soft it felt like a water bed and wasn’t very comfortable for us to sleep on

No soundproofing. FWe were on the ground floor and could hear every step and bathroom noises from the guests above us. More evident late at night when they returned and early morning.

We love everything about this hotel and would change nothing

Set in the historic surroundings of a 14th century coaching inn ,this hotel provides all the modern facilities we are now used It has successfully combined its traditional heritage with the needs of todays travellers. Its rooms are charming set inside the main building and in a courtyard extension built by the current owners. The hotel has a fine reputation for its food and every occasion we have dined there it has lived up to its reputation. The bar area is large and extensive and is a regular for the residents of Crickhowell and its surrounding areas. The service in all areas of this wonderful hotel is impeccable

Sounds a bit picky but it would be good to have some more lighting in the downstairs dining room, and to make sure all surfaces are spotlessly clean - some felt a little bit 'sticky' in parts on the tables in the bar! Menu is so large it is clear that not all is prepped freshly but that is also a bit picky as it all tasted really good.

Parking is hit and miss , if you can’t park the local car park is free from 6pm to 8am and a few mins away … very safe

Room was very warm at night,appreciate no air con due to age on building,so had to open window ,which then brought in road noise,minimal aggrevance really ,no different in any other town.

Room was as expected and suited our needs,shower was brilliant. Breakfast was lovely,bar area nice with great atmosphere,could not fault food in restaurant,staff were faultless,would highly recommend.

Beautiful building in the heart of Crickhowell.

The food was first class and arrived quickly even though the hotel was busy. The waiting staff were very professional. Breakfast consisted of many choices as did dinner. We were told our room was an upgrade; it was spacious . The included Tea/ Coffee was very welcome after a days walking.The location is perfect.
